cra
As proud as they are accurate, Cras are the master Archers. They are precious allies to those embroiled in a messy attack. From a distance, their bows, eyes and tight fists become one as their deadly arrows pierce through the melee to their chosen target.
- Speciality : Archer, long-range attacks
- Preferred Weapons : Bow (100% damage) and Daggers (95% damage)
- Basic characteristics :
- 44 Health Points (HP)
- 6 6 Action Points (AP)
- 3 3 Movement Points (MP)
- 1 1 Initiative Point
- 100 - 100 Prospecting Points
Each time you level up in combat, you'll receive 5 points which you can use to improve your characteristics and one point for your spells. You should spend these points carefully and establish a direction in which you want your character to evolve.
In the table below you'll see how much it costs to improve each characteristic. The more you invest in any one characteristic, the more points you'll have to spend to continue improving it..For Cras, each INTELLIGENCE point will only cost one capital point until you have accumulated 50. Thereafter, you'll have to spend two capital points to improve this characteristic
For instance, for Cras, each point in INTELLIGENCE will cost 1 capital point until you reach 50. Once you've passed this threshold, if you want to improve the Characteristic it will cost you 2 capital points.
VITALITY will only cost you 1 point whereas to improve your WISDOM you will need 3.
In general, Cras have to spend a lot of capital points improving their characteristics. INTELLIGENCE and STRENGTH are the least costly and so are often chosen as primary characteristics. INTELLIGENCE increases the intensity of the Fire damage they deal and STRENGTH increases the power of earth and Neutral damage.
| Cost in points for each characteristic . |
1 for 1 | 2 for 1 | 3 for 1 | 4 for 1 | 5 for 1 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Intelligence | 0 to 50 | 51 to 150 | 151 to 250 | 251 to 350 | 351+ |

Cras in general
What sets Cras apart is the long range of their spells. They keep their distance and attack from far away, doing their best to avoid close combat.
Regardless of the basic course you decide to take with your character, you'll find yourself using these fundamental spells again and again:
CRITICAL SHOOTING, DISTANT SHOOTING, POWERFUL SHOOTING, EAGLE EYE, BOW SKILL
These are your class spells, so you would do well to get to know them inside out.
Being an expert archer, you should equip your character either with a Bow (100% damage) or with Daggers (95% damage). Having said this, nothing is stopping you trying out the other weapons available to you, but your damage will fall to 90%.
As for choosing your attack spells, this will depend on the element you decide to specialise in. Earth and Fire Cras are the most common types because they are the easiest to evolve. You might also want to be original and go for another element.
Fire Cra
Fire Cras are one of the easiest to evolve and therefore one of the more popular types of Cra. They have access to effective attacks from a very early stage, but on the other hand have to reach level 90 to gain their favourite spell, EXPLOSIVE ARROW. In the meantime, Cras will use their points capital to improve their INTELLIGENCE.
Fire Cras will also attempt to increase their INTELLIGENCE using weapons that have bonuses in this characteristic. For close combat, Cras will tend to use a Fire-type weapon such as the Hickory Tree.
The Fire Cra's attack spells are: Frozen Arrow, Magic Arrow, Burning Arrow, Explosive Arrow
Earth Cra
Earth Cras are almost as popular as their fiery brothers. In spite of their somewhat random nature, their attack spells can be highly powerful and they have a good selection of Neutral and Earth type bows at their disposal. In order to increase the intensity of their attacks, Cras must develop their STRENGTH Characteristic using capital points.
Earth Cras will do their best to equip items that bring STRENGTH. In close combat, Cras can equip a Neutral bow as well as a Royal Bow of Gobball Horn.
The Earth Cra's attack spells are: HOMING ARROW, ATONEMENT ARROW, PARALYZING ARROW, PUNITIVE ARROW, LASHING ARROW, DESTRUCTIVE ARROW
Air Cra
Rarer than their earth and Neutral brothers are Air Cras, who nevertheless have a number of very useful strategic benefits. Not only are they extremely mobile, but they can also push enemies back several cells and steal health from them in order to heal themselves using their Theft of Life spell. So as to be as effective as possible, Air Cras will increase their AGILITY using scrolls rather than with their capital points.
Air Cras will try to maximise their AGILITY bonus by using appropriate equipment. They can also equip items to maximise their critical hits. Air Cras will tend to use weapons such as the Hidsad Bow which is very useful for beginner characters.
The Air Cra's attack spells are: RETREAT ARROW, PLAGUING ARROW, ABSORPTIVE ARROW
Water Cra
The Water Cra is the most difficult to evolve. It only receives its single Water type attack spell when it reaches level 80. What's more, increasing its CHANCE using capital points will quickly become costly. Water Cras will usually opt for scrolls when evolving.
Water Cras will try to boost their CHANCE using their equipment. A Water type bow is its most effective close combat weapon. Water Cras may start with the Ykulf Bow.
The Water Cra's attack spell is: SLOW DOWN ARROW
To compensate for their lack of attack spells, Water Cras have an increased number of support spells.
Multi-elemental Cra
As their name indicates, multi-elemental Cras combine spells of at least two specific elements. Often the combination is formed between the elements Fire and Earth but playing an Earth/Water or a Water/Air Cra is also entirely possible. On the other hand, these types of character paths are some of the most difficult to evolve.
It is not advisable to evolve your character based on more than two attack elements. Your capital points will be spread too thin and your character will lack focused strength, making it an impractical option.
