feca

Fecas are faithful Protectors. They hold an important place in groups of adventurers because of their protective powers - not to mention their skill with a staff. For generations, the Fecas have prided themselves on guarding what treasure wise men have entrusted them with.

Profile
  • Speciality : Protector and defender
  • Preferred Weapons : Staff (100 % damage) and Wand (95 % damage)
  • Basic characteristics :
    • 42 Health Points (HP)
    • 6 6 Action Points (AP)
    • 3 3 Movement Points (MP)
    • 1 1 Initiative Point
    • 100 - 100 Prospecting Points

Each time you level up in combat, you'll receive 5 points which you can use to improve your characteristics and one point for your spells. You should spend these points carefully and establish a direction in which you want your character to evolve.

In the table below you'll see how much it costs to improve each characteristic. The more you invest in any one characteristic, the more points you'll have to spend to continue improving it.

For Fecas, each INTELLIGENCE point will only cost one capital point until you have accumulated 100.Thereafter, you'll have to spend two capital points to improve this characteristic.

VITALITY will always cost one point and WISDOM will always cost three.

Cost in points for each
characteristic .
1 for 1 2 for 1 3 for 1 4 for 1 5 for 1
Intelligence 0 to 100 101 to 200 201 to 300 301 to 400 401+
Strength 0 to 20 21 to 40 41 to 60 61 to 80 81+
Agility 0 to 20 21 to 40 41 to 60 61 to 80 81+
Chance - 0 to 50 51 to 150 151 to 250 251+

INTELLIGENCE is the basic characteristic of the Fecas and it is this aspect that will require the least number of points capital to increase. INTELLIGENCE increases the intensity of Fire damage, which is suited to developing the effectiveness of your spells.

INTELLIGENCE will maximise the effectiveness of all Feca spells, however the more you invest in this characteristic, the more your armor will diminish and the more vulnerable you will be.

Regardless of the basic course you decide to take with your character, and especially if you plan on using at least a few protection spells, you'll do well to invest part of your points capital in INTELLIGENCE.

Fecas in general

What sets Fecas apart is their ability as protectors. They can reduce damage taken not only by themselves, but by their allies as well. They can sometimes rebound damage as well. Regardless of the basic course you decide to take with your character, you'll find yourself using these protection spells again and again:

GLOWING ARMOR,SPELL REBOUND, EARTH ARMOR,AQUEOUS ARMOR, IMMUNITY, WIND ARMOR, TRUCE, FECA SHIELD

These are your class spells, so you would do well to get to know them inside out.

As for your close combat weapons, you'll mainly be using a Staff (100% damage) or a Wand (95% damage). Having said this, nothing is stopping you trying out the other weapons available, but your damage will fall to 90%.

Your choice of attack spells will depend on the element you decide to specialise in. Fire Fecas are the most common type because they are the easiest to play. You might also want to be original and go for another element.

Fire Feca

Fire Fecas are the easiest to evolve of all their class. Their armor is quite powerful and they have access to attack spells from level one. They will therefore concentrate on increasing their INTELLIGENCE using their characteristic points.

Fire Fecas will also attempt to increase their INTELLIGENCE using weapons that have bonuses in this characteristic. For close combat, Fecas will begin by using a Fire-type weapon such as the Hickory Tree.

The Fire Feca's attack spells are: NATURAL ATTACK, AGGRESSIVE GLYPH, CLOUDY ATTACK, BURNING GLYPH

Inexperienced players should consider playing with the Fire Feca to begin with since their protection spells are very powerful.

Earth Feca

Although they are more difficult to evolve than their Fire brothers, Earth Fecas are powerful when it comes to close combat, where they'll use their spell BACKLASH. This spell requires them to get very close to their enemies, however. Earth Fecas will try to boost their STRENGTH using scrolls and their points capital. They may also want to spend these on VITALITY or INTELLIGENCE to compensate for the weakness of their armor.

Earth Fecas will do their best to equip items that bring STRENGTH. Their weapons are used in combat until such time as they receive their BACKLASH spell. This spell is used above all in close combat but before they have access to it, they may use a staff that deals neutral damage such as the Treechnidis Vivitus. Even after Earth Fecas receive BACKLASH, they may continue to use weapons for bonuses rather than to deal damage.

The Earth Feca's attack spells are: BLINDNESS, BACKLASH

Water Feca

Water Fecas are quite difficult to evolve. Their only Water spell proves difficult to use in practice and their armor lacks effectiveness due to their low INTELLIGENCE. What's more, increasing CHANCE using points capital will quickly become costly. Water Fecas will usually opt for scrolls when evolving. They may also want to spend their points on INTELLIGENCE to boost their protection spells

Water Fecas will try to find equipment which boosts their CHANCE and sometimes their MP. A staff dealing Water damage is a Water Fecas best ally in close combat. They may opt for the '110' Spear in the beginning and move on to Akwadala Staff.

The Water Feca's attack spell is: BUBBLE

BUBBLE requires a minimum range to be effective which means that Water Fecas should do their best to boost their MP. Water Fecas must arm themselves with a close combat weapon, since their primary spell is of little use when they are tackled by an enemy.

Air Fecas

Air Fecas are certainly the most difficult to evolve in their class and they must focus on their mobility and their support spells to get the most out of their characteristics. They have no spells linked to their element and will tend to increase their AGILITY using scrolls and their points capital. They may also choose to invest their points in VITALITY and/or INTELLIGENCE in order to improve their armor.

Air Fecas will do their best to equip items that bring AGILITY or MP bonuses. In close combat, Fecas can equip a Neutral bow as well as a Bow of Gobball Horn. Bonuses. Since they have no Air-type attack, their choice of close combat weapon will be vital. A good Air damage staff such as the Bearman's Staff will serve Fecas well in the beginning.

Fecas will focus on their TELEPORTATION in order to increase their mobility.

Multi-elemental Feca

As their name indicates, multi-elemental Fecas combine spells of at least two specific elements. Multi-elemental Fecas are generally Fire Fecas who opt for a second, complementary element. In theory, playing an Earth/Water or a Water/Air Feca is also entirely possible. On the other hand, these types of character paths are some of the most difficult to evolve.

It is not advisable to evolve your character based on more than two attack elements. Your capital points will be spread too thin and your character will lack focused strength, making it an impractical option.
