    • 100 - 100 Prospecting Points

Each time you level up in combat, you'll receive 5 points which you can use to improve your characteristics and one point for your spells. You should spend these points carefully and establish a direction in which you want your character to evolve.

Sacrier's are unusual in that it will always cost the same amount of points to improve their characteristics.

It will always cost Sacriers 3 points to improve WISDOM, STRENGTH, INTELLIGENCE and CHANCE.

On the other hand, they will gain 2 VITALITY points for evey point invested in this characteristic.

The main characteristic of the Sacriers is VITALITY and so you should try and spend as many characteristic points as possible on this aspect of your character. It is not worth investing in any particular elemental direction. VITALITY willl increase your endurance in combat and will allow you to take damage without suffering... and you're sure going to have to do that!

Sacriers in general

Beyond their VITALITY, which is shockingly high, what characterises Sacriers is their capacity to profit from injury. Having a Sacrier on the front lines can also be a vital strategic tool for a team in combat. Regardless of the basic course you decide to take with your character, you'll find yourself using these fundamental spells again and again:

attirance, Life transfer, Transposition, Sacrifice, Cooperation, Coagulation

If you use them correctly, these support spells can become a valuable asset in combat, so you would do well to get to know them inside out.

Your punishment spells, however are what will make you unique. They will also replace your precious few characteristic points. Depending which elements you choose to follow, you'll find yourself using one of these spells sooner or later:

Forced Punishment, Bold Punishment, Nimble Punishment, Sacred Punishment, Wise Punishment

As for close combat, you'll have to rely on a special class malus. When you use your weapon, no matter which it it is, you'll never cause more than 90% of basic damage. Sacriers usually fight bare-fisted as a result (and barefoot, too!).

As for choosing your attack spells, this will depend on the element you decide to specialise in. The Air and Earth Sacriers are the most common types because they are the easiest to evolve. They also have the most attack spells linked to their element. You might also want to be original and adopt Fire or Water as your element.

Earth Sacrier

Earth Sacriers are one of the easiest to evolve and have access to effective attacks from level one, for example Forced Punishment. They can use this spell to store Strength à lui, il va pouvoir engranger les points de Force qui lui font défaut le temps du combat. Even if they invest all their points capital in Vitality, they will still be able to increase their Strength using scrolls.

Earth Sacriers will also attempt to increase their Strength and Vitality using weapons that have bonuses in these characteristics. Since they do not specialise in any particular type of close combat, they will usually choose weapons on the basis of bonuses.

The Earth Sacrier's attack spells are: Sacrier's Foot, Punishment

Note: Although of Neutral type, the damage dealt by Punishment is not boosted by increased Strength. The number of damage points will always be proportional to the level of Health Points which remain when the spell is cast.

Air Sacrier

Air Sacriers are excellent tacklers and are capable of blocking enemies and taking their blows at the same time. They boost their Agility in each new fight using Nimble Punishment, but will need to improve this characteristic using scrolls as well, while all their points capital will be invested in Vitality.

Air Sacriers will also attempt to increase their Agility, Vitality and even critical hits using weapons that have bonuses in these characteristics. Items which bring additional MP will also interest them. Since they do not specialise in any particular type of close combat, they will usually choose weapons on the basis of bonuses.

Le The The Air Sacrier's attack spell is: Assault

These Sacriers are highly mobile and can use displacement spells very effectively such as attirance, Transposition and coopération.

Fire Sacrier

Fire Sacriers are difficult to evolve but their ability to heal themselves using Theft of Life in their attack spell is one of their unique characteristics. Sacriers cannot do without the Intelligence bonus brought by the spell Sacred Punishment, but they will also do their best to improve this characteristic using scrolls.

FIre Sacriers will also attempt to increase their Strength and Vitality using weapons that have bonuses in these characteristics. Since they do not specialise in any particular type of close combat, they will usually choose weapons on the basis of bonuses.

The Fire Sacrier's attack spells are: Absorption

Note: With a critical hit on the spelll Life transfer, the level of Health Points stolen will be boosted by Intelligence.

Water Sacrier

Water Sacriers are both difficult to evolve and more rare than their Earth-type counterparts. They only have access to one attack spell in their element, however they accumulate damage bonuses for three full turns each time they casts this spell. They can increase their Chance in combat using the spell Bold Punishment and will also use scrolls to improve this characteristic.

Sacriers will also attempt to increase their Chance and Vitality using weapons that have bonuses in these characteristics. Since they do not specialise in any particular type of close combat, they will usually choose weapons on the basis of bonuses.

The Water Sacrier's attack spells are: fury

Multi-elemental Sacrier

As their name indicates, Multi-elemental Sacriers combine spells of at least two specific elements. Since AGILITY and STRENGTH are the Sacriers most valuable characteristics, Sacriers will almost always combine Earth or Air with another complementary element. The most common Multi-elemental Sacrier is the Air/Earth type. You can also choose to combine Fire and Water, but this type of character will be very difficult to play.
