Masol-To says:
A calm breeze blows over the Province of Amakna as the Gobballs peacefully sink their teeth into everything that crosses their path. The inhabitants go about their business and suspect nothing. But in the dark, silent night, a beam of change appears, the Cosmic Ray is approaching. And I, Masol-To, shall be its herald, the messenger of its arrival. I'm not made of silver and I am no surfer, but what I know is far more powerful than any force you can mention.
When the world learns of the catastrophe, Enutrofs from a clan named Galac will emerge and take advantage of the general panic to line their pockets. They will swear on their lives that the silvery-blue coats of armour they are selling can protect the people from the ray. They will also twist an old legend to convince good folk that uniting all the parts of this equipment will allow them to absorb part of the power of the Cosmic Ray.
Creatures from forgotten lands, sensing the imminent impact will flee their resting places to spread panic throughout the World.
All will wish to share in the power of the Cosmic Ray. Once again, Bonta the Bright and Brakmar the Dark will confront one another. Two protectors will stand above and lead their cities to triumph. In the fierce battles that ensue, many warriors will fall on either side.
Water the light will come and on the day of impact, all warriors will be stronger, more powerful and more wise. The cries of battle will sound in the heart of each and every inhabitant of the World of Twelve."
Masol-To had spoken.
Masol-To has predicted that the Cosmic Ray
will fall upon the World the 22nd of April.
Will you survive the impact?
Masol-To is a prophet, the ray will strike. Those who have mocked the old Enutrof and called him mad, and those who have rained rotten fruit upon him will meet the same fate... their eyes too will soon be fixed upon the four aligned stars that signal the coming of the ray. It will gather speed around the Divine Plane, growing faster and faster, more concentrated, it is a jet of light, a blinding ray of incredible thickness. It takes on a blood red tint as it passes the demonic dimension and continues on to the free territory of the rings... The ray continues to travel faster and faster and already the inhabitants of Amakna can make out a red light in the depths of the dark sky. It is but a spot above them, but it will steadily grow and grow.
Idiots will flee, the wise will pray, others will sit back and enjoy what may be their last show... When the ray hits, its power will diffuse and flow into each inhabitant in the World. Far from dying, they will grow stronger. Their battle instinct will overcome their emotions. In each corner of Amakna, people will be attacking one another with rare delight.
When the people wake the morning after impact, it will be as if they have spent two days down in the Inn, such will be their sickness. Everything seems far away. They are surprised to be alive but cannot imagine how they have become more powerful than before.
Little by little the inhabitants return to their occupations and with time they forget the devastation they narrowly avoided that day. But Masol-To the prophet, in his Crackler mountain cave, knows all that will come to pass. He knows that soon, in the deepest corner of the galaxy, that a new ray is hurtling towards us as we speak.
