Rules

Qualifying Round:

I. Test of Speed:

A specific boss has been assigned to each class:

  • Royal Tofu: Pandawa, Ecaflip, Sadida, Osamodas

  • Royal Rainbow Blop: Eniripsa, Feca, Xelor, Sram

  • Pandora Master: Sacrier, Cra, Enutrof, Iop

Note:

  • When fighting the Royal Tofu, the Royal Rainbow Blop or the Pandora Master, the applicant must be alone.

  • Battles against the Royal Tofu, the Royal Rainbow Blop and the Pandora Master must be conducted in their respective dungeons. Fighting in arenas is not permitted.

The 3 best times for each class and each server will be selected to take part in the second test.

II. Test of Character:

On each server, the 3 candidates with the best time in their class will be put forward to take part in the Test of Character.

Applicants must answer the following question in 100 words or less: "What makes you the best person to represent your class on your server?"

The community will get to vote on the submitted answers, but the final decision will be Ankama's.

III. Procedure:

Applicants must visit this page.

The Test of Character must be added at the end of the form. All applicants must complete the Test of Character. Any incomplete entries will be automatically disqualified.

We will only accept one entry per player.

The Tournament:

I. General Rules

  • The whole of the tournament will take place on a server opened especially for the occasion.

  • Any insult will result in immediate disqualification.

  • The official language of the tournament is English. English should therefore be used during fights between two teams from different communities. The use of other languages is allowed between players from the same community, however.

  • The use of bonus-giving candies and blessings from the Pandala temples are not allowed. These bonuses will be automatically removed from characters when they enter the tournament arena.

  • Any spell may be used.

  • Any equipment at the player's disposal may be used.

II. Referees

Throughout the tournament, there will be referees supervising the fights.

In the event of a disagreement between two teams, whatever it might be about, the referee present will make the final decision.

All teams must respect the referees.

The referees are easily identifiable: they have the appearance of an owl.

III. Team Selection:

Once the official list of the 12 players selected by server is published, the players therein will have 4 days to divide themselves into 4 teams of 3 characters.

In the event of a disagreement within the 12 and being unable to agree on the formation of the teams, Ankama will choose them (they will be drawn at random).

Points are counted by both team and by server, so it is strongly advised to create 4 equally powerful and balanced teams rather than risking everything on one team only.

IV. Community challenges

Throughout the 4 weeks of the tournament, players from different servers will be invited to attend community events to liven up the competition between the servers.

The winning server will gain 50 points for each team on that server, or the equivalent of 4 victories.

The server in second place will gain 20 points for each team on that server.

There will be two community events per week of the tournament. The missions will be announced just before the start of each challenge.

V. The Pool Stage

The pool stage is divided into two phases. The two phases will have the same format, but the distribution of teams in the pools will change.

The 164 teams are divided into 41 pools of 4 teams. Two teams from the same server cannot take each other on during these phases.

Each team will have 3 games in the group stages.

Points will be tallied throughout these stages. The 64 teams who have gathered the most points at the end of their 6 fights will qualify for the final stages. Team scores are also influenced by the performance of their servers at community events.

Procedure

The order of battle and the times at which they begin will be decided in advance. The teams must appear on the map that has been assigned to their fight.

At each end of fight, a member of both teams must go to this page and fill out the end of combat form. A screenshot of the end of the fight is also required.

In case of mismatching information, we will investigate and immediately disqualify the team found to be lying.

If one team completes the end of battle form, we will assume that the opposing team has validated it.

VI. The finals

The 64 remaining teams will compete over 6 days, ending with the final.

Defeated teams are knocked out automatically.

The match schedule will be published in advance.

Absences and delays will result in automatic elimination of the team in question.

The server will be closed to spectators, apart from special permits for the final stages.

VII. Tallying of points

The points are recorded by team and by server.

The number of points won depends on the type of victory:

- Perfect win (no dead in team): 50 points

- Birdie win (one dead on team): 40 points

- Win on the wire (two dead on team): 30 points

- Win by time: 30 points

- Win by default: 20 points

- Draw: 10 point

- Loss: 0 points

Victory:

A victory in less than 10 minutes is a crushing victory.

In a crushing victory, points earned are multiplied by 2.

Draw:

During the group stages, a draw is declared after 40 minutes of combat.

During the final stages, draws do not occur, there will only be time-based victories.

Time victory:

From the first round to the quarter finals, a time-based victory will be applied to fights lasting longer than 40 minutes.

During the semi-final and the final, the time limit is fixed at 1 hour 30 minutes.

The winning team is the one with the highest average percentage HP remaining.

The percentage is calculated from the original number of health points of the team at the beginning of the fight.

Dead characters will be taken into account when calculating the average, and will have 0% HP

Forfeiting a match:

Teams that are not present at the time of their fight will be declared forfeit.

The absent team is considered the loser. The team that is present will be declared the winner by default.

If both teams are absent, they are both declared losers.

VIII. Rewards

The winning team:

The three tournament winners will be showered with Kamas! They will each win 10,000 Kamas per point won!

They will also win a Champion set, the Champion emote, and their name will be engraved in marble as the winner of the tournament!

Runner-up team:

Maybe they didn't beat off every last competitor, but they sure gave Goultard a handsome spectacle! The three members of the team occupying the second step on the podium will each win 5,000 Kamas per point won!

The server with most points:

This server will be rewarded by a whole weekend of:

- Double XP

- Double drops

- Dungeon key bunches can be recharged without limit

Every character on the server will also receive a gift to celebrate the victory.

The team with the most points on each server:

Each member of these teams will receive the Champion Set, and, of course, the Champion Emote.

A team can of course earn more than one reward.

In case of a tie, Goultard will hold separate challenges for the teams and determine who deserves the reward most.
