Double Exp. Weekend for everyone!

Yes, you have read well, you just have got a Double Exp. Weekend! The photo challenge is over and we would like to thank all of you with a Double Exp. Weekend starting from 12/30/11, 18:00 (PARIS TIME, GMT +1) to 02.01.12, 9:00 (PARIS TIME, GMT +1)

Thanks Ankama for a great year starter. Hope this is an indication of a year long line of great surprises.

You don't get the point. At least they can 'move' their event to next week, to keep it fair for every player.
I realy don't get the point of celebrating a "New Year" celebration free event one week after "New Year". I'm also sure it won't also be fair for everybody, since I'm pretty sure there will always be a portion of the the playing population who will not be available next week and will complain that the free exp should have been celebrated over the holidays when they are available to play. You cannot please everyone.

I'm betting we won't have an answer for awhile. I've even thought about submitting a ticket, but for one, I can't even find the pathway of links to get to submitting a ticket on support, and I'm not sure that would really do anything anyway.

I'm sorry but what gives you the right to say "what just won't cut it" ? This wasn't some willy nilly thing as everyone appears to be thinking. This double exp weekend was the result of an event.

That is the reason for the double exp because the Dofus community faced the challenge proposed and succeeded. (That isn't the original thread but it has the gist of what I am saying)
The mods have definitely realized by now that their was a problem and have most likely relayed the situation to Izmar despite her being on her vacation. As always she will probably work really hard to get you guys some fair compensation but people who do nothing but complain like your post make me question how we still have such a great CCM.
Not to mention back some time ago when their was a similar problem the compensation was one day of double exp. Zato will probably get a day of double exp in the near future that other servers won't. Mistakes happen, raging on the forums will not get them fixed.

Freebie or not. Zato still got cut short compared to other servers. That's like if 5 people got a new car and one of them was missing an engine. Even though its a freebie, its still unfair and as Nythius said, unprofessional. Still waiting on a response from the Ankama team for this issue. If we get like a Orange Shigekax as a compensation or something I will be truly disappointed.

We had to participate in the photo contest to get the double xp reward, so I don't think you can consider it a "freebie".
