Miss & Mister Amakna Season 2: Here we go!
Registrations to the beauty and popularity contest Miss & Mister Amakna are now open! Display your greatest showing off skills, your most unexpected outfits, and your best collector’s item collection and just impress! Always keep in mind, the shinier the better, but make sure not to hurt anyone's eyes… Be chic, not kitsch!
Welcome to our second season of Miss & Mister Amakna!
Register from today on and until Monday July 9th with your best looking character: if you have style, you may very much win!
Open to everyone, this contest allows you to act as the candidate and the jury all in the same time. Once you registered you will get to vote to elect the most stunning beauties of 2012!
To participate, you will need your Ankama account and the ability to log in on our website. You can only enter one character per account, that character must be at least level 20, and you must either be an active subscriber, or have subscribed at some point in the past (for a total of at least three months or more).
You can register your character in one of five categories:
- Glam
- Rebel
- Beach
- Fashion disaster
- Bodybuilder
The elected ones will then compete to become Miss or Mister of their server, and then try their luck at grabbing the ultimate title of Miss / Mister World of Twelve (inter-server)!
Winners will all receive an ingame amulet that grants them the matching title. For a chance to be elected, just visit the event page!
Please note that you will only be able to parade with the items you have ingame and updates require 24h to be implemented! If you need to do a bit of shopping first, better starting now!

As of yesterday, a number of other bugs with the M&M system have been corrected or are being worked on:
- Fixed: Foggernauts can now register for the contest.
- In progress: Problem with a character's preview image not showing up on the list of candidate. It will be solved before the voting begins.
- In progress: Character's colors incorrect. Please send an Ankabox message to Konala with the subject "Problème couleur".
- Fixed: Candiate application URLs should now work properly.
- Fixed: Some characters were not showing up as available to enter the contest. This was due to the age of the character, and has now been fixed.
- In progress: Some characters had their class changed after validation, and others suffered from strange pet size changes. This bug is still under investigation, we'll update you as soon as possible.
Anyone with truncated text in their entries should be aware that the text editor automatically reduces paragraphs that are copied and pasted, so as not to exceed the character limit. You might need to shorten your text.
Anyone who is trying to use a backpack that is not showing up, please Ankabox [Konala].
We're sorry for the trouble, and we're working to fix the problems quickly so our entrants can concentrate on being beautiful.
