Discover the first two Meridia effects

We're only days away from the opening of the Almanax and to pique your interest in the content of this magical book, the first two Meridia have agreed to reveal their bonus and quest.

Oh no... we know that blank look... Don't say it...

"The Mer-what-dia???"

Oh dear, you said it...
Unless you've been vacationing on Vulkania all this time, there's really no excuse for being this far out of the loop! The Meridia are guardians of the days of the year. They're tiny little gods appointed by Xelor who exert their protection and influence over the day that's assigned to them. This influence is reflected in the World of Twelve in different ways. In DOFUS, it's expressed in terms of a daily bonus and a daily quest for each Meridia that is only available during those precious 24 hours that they protect. Hm, but maybe you'd like to know even more, especially about the bonuses?

September 18th is the domain of Guidys, the Meridia of fragility. His flimsy little body is as brittle as a politician's promise and just as easily broken. If you've been dying for an excuse to get rid of your great auntie's horrible bone china tea set, September 18th is your day to arrange to move house. They certainly won't survive the trip!

This increase in fragility has the greatest effect on the calcified creatures of the Skeleton dungeon, which is why September 18th also unlocks the following 24 hour bonus: 200% increase to all successfully completed challenges in the Skeleton Dungeon.

To honor Guidys and earn a calendar page on September 18th, you need to bring 4 Chafer Bones to Antiklime Ax in the Bibliotemple.

Are you forever ogling the wealth of others? Can you keep your sea legs with ease, even on two wooden legs? Have you ever tried to train a Kido to sit on your shoulder and squawk nonsensical phrases? Then it should come as no surprise that you're a fan of Olvido! On September 19th the only acceptable way to honor the day is to hoist a black flag and tap a keg of Greedo Rum!

That's right, September 19th is the Feast of Pirates, presided over by the Meridia Olvido, and it's the only day of the year that it is encouraged, nay, expected for everyone to behave like a pirate!

That's why the bonus for September 19th is as follows: Experience and drops increased by 75% on all pirate-type monsters.

(And, exclusively for the English community, there will be a special item with a unique new effect that can drop from these pirate monsters as well)

To appease Olvido and earn a calendar page on September 19th, bring 1 plank of Walnut Wood to Antiklime Ax in the Almanax Shrine.

We'll see you back here on September the 18th for the start of a new year of surprises!

No, the bonus is always global, you don't need to do the quest if you don't want to. I assume they mentioned it for Oct 3 specifically because the "bonus" on that day is a quest and they probably wanted to clarify that this really is unrelated to the quest of offering.

Really stupid question, sorry.
Do you need to give the offering to get the bonus?
Because for Oct 3, it specifically says that the bonus is not linked to the offering.
Does that mean that it is for other days? or not? or just some of them?
Thank you for your patience!

September 19th should be designated as International Talk Like A Pirate On Dofus Day. Arrrr!

Check the new Almanax calendar! Septangel 19 is the Me Hearty Party day!

I've confirmed with the server devs today that there will be a special equippable item that only drops on Shika, Solar, Rushu, Rosal, Zatoishwan, Dark Vlad, and yes.... even Aermyne... for one week starting on September 19th. What will it do? You'll find out tomorrow...

Thanks Ankama! It's so refreshing to have a new activity that is not Kolo related. I really will enjoy this daily quest.

Ho ho! Now I’m getting curious about February 29th! We just have to wait till the year 2016 before we get to know that day’s Meridia. ^.^ (If there is anyone assigned to the leap day at all, that is.)
