Izmarr!

What happened to the graphic update promised for Wabbit Island?

Waw!
Wabbit Island!
Fewocious!
Well, it was downgraded to an event... that is coming in October! There is still a new piece equipment involved, though!

Yeah, I was actually wondering if this was the update that was suppose to include Wabbit Island or not? I'm hoping they get rid of the annoying holes in the ground 1/2 way through that island...lol.

ehh.. about the Ranged spells and Iop.. Its the only spells that was modifiable range.. base was only 1-4 so nothing epic.. now base is 1-5 but not modifiable.. Thats COMPLETELY awful.. Now i cant do ANYTHING from range.. need to rush it and die pfeh..
Change the Sword Of Iop in next update.. anyhow.. but it needs better range..
Sacriers are for completely close attack.. Not iops in my opinion

~Thank you, Dobis
I agree in the fact that being able to attack with SoI from clear across the stage was awesome (and will be missed), but it really did feel "out of character". I had +6 range on mine, and then my Cra would boost it even further... I literally could wipe out entire mobs in Frigost 2, without even getting within 10 spaces of an enemy...lol.

Anyway, 1 - 5 range it not horrible, I think it just feels that way since we've been spoiled with massive range abilities up to this point. There are other classes well built for ranged attacks, but Iops (a warrior type class) should really be "in the heat of battle". Of course, this is my personal opinion, but I really do like the idea of having to be closer, ESPECIALLY since they compensated us with higher damage output.

Happy Hunting,
Benjamight

I have to say, I GREATLY enjoy the new Iop spells. I'm still learning them, and have a couple spells at level 1 until I figure out how much I'll use them, but overall, I'm 100% satisfied with them... thank you. Yeah, the loss of range for SoI kind of stinks, but Iops aren't suppose to be long range attackers (at least from what I understand), so having to stay kind of close, but dishing out heavier damage, gives me the feel of what my Iop should have been all along! Oh, and can I just go ahead and say "The new Iop Wrath animation is the most EPIC in the (12) worlds"!!! Ankama, whoever thought that up, needs a raise (or a free piece of candy), because it's amazing!!

There is 1 thing about the 2.8 update that I'm finding somewhat annoying, and I'm assuming it's probably just an option I haven't figured out how to turn off, because I don't remember it doing it prior to 2.8? When I open up a market, I get the same ding or chime sound I get, as when I'm opening Dofus... ok, that's no biggie I suppose; BUT, everytime I click an item in that market or change between item types in that market (switching from Ammy to ring in the Jeweler market for example), I get that same ding/chime sound. Every........ Single........ Click......lol. So, if anyone can tell me how to turn off that sound, that would be wonderful.

Other than that, GREAT job Ankama on 2.8... you did such an awesome job with 2.8, I'm already excited to see what you have up your sleeves for 2.9.

So um.. Hi. When are you guys planning to fix the Incarnam? Hopefully someday :/
I'm in Incarnam right now. What's supposedly "broken" about it?
