Game Modifications - November 2, 2011 - Version 2.4.6

Version 2.4.6 of the DOFUS client has been released. This patch offers the following updates:

[size=16]Kolossium[/size]

  • The matchmaking system now makes better comparisons of the rankings for each member of a team and matches them better against members of other teams.
  • It's no longer possible to avoid the Kolossium penalty for leaving a battle early by connecting to a character from another server on the same account.
  • As requested by the community, the Kolossium matchmaking system has been adjusted to favor finding balanced fights. This change means that waiting times are likely to be much longer on servers where there are not many participants in the system.
  • The system will no longer offer any team a fight where their chances of success are rated at 25% or less, even if the team has been waiting to fight for more than 30 minutes.
  • The uncertainty ranking of characters who are fighting on the Kolossium for the first time has been reduced in order to start characters at a ranking that is closer to their potential powers, and thus offer them more balanced fights from the start.
  • It is no longer possible to invite a third person to a Kolossium group that is currently registered to find a fight. This change will help prevent errors that allow teams of 4 vs 3 to be formed.
  • It is no longer possible to interact with the Kolossium by registering for fights or joining Kolossium groups while a character has been placed in Moderation Prison.
  • Harvesting resources while waiting for a Kolossium battle to begin no longer blocks the use of Quick Equip shortcuts.
  • The system now prevents players from being matched against the same team several times in a row during the same hour.
  • The option to lock a fight to members of a group no longer kicks characters present in a Kolossium group but not present in a conventional group.

  • Lag issues caused by casting spells in creature mode while on a mount have been fixed.
  • Characters in creature mode now correctly cast their spell animations. This accelerates the speed of gameplay while using creature mode in combat.

  • The process of connecting and logging in to the game servers has been improved.
