Compensation - January 2016

Hello everyone,

Compensation is now complete for all servers that were scheduled to receive 9, 8, and 7 days of subscription. We will continue rolling out compensation to the other servers over the coming days.

In regards to the Kama Exchange, we have made a lot of progress. Soon, we will have corrected all the missing trades. Kamas will be re-credited directly to the bank of the affected account, or, in the case of Ogrine purchases using kamas, the kamas will be pulled from the account’s bank or character inventories.

For players who have used the following services during the rollback period:

· Restore a Character
· Class Change
· Character Account Transfer

These service activations have been canceled, and your account will be credited with Ogrines as soon as possible.

Finally, we are continuing our search for the accounts that were used to abuse this bug. Sanctions will be handed down as soon as it is possible.

All servers have now received their subscription/Compensoken compensation packages.

The team is switching to crediting accounts that lost Ogrines or services.

We have no update on the status of experience replacement at this time, but watch this thread for additional information.

Update!

  • All kamas purchased with Ogrines that were lost during the rollback have been re-credited.
  • All services that were used during the rollback have been canceled, and matching Ogrines have been credited to the affected accounts
  • All services (with the exception of the Character Account Transfer service) are available to purchase once again.
  • We are still working on the possibility of returning character and profession exp. We will update you further next week.

Update!

  • We are expecting to reactivate character account transfer services by the end of this week.
  • There is no news about experience compensation at this time, but the team is still working on the process.

We have identified a few special cases where certain players were meant to receive compensation packages for the rollback, had compensation packages credited to their accounts, but did not actually receive the items. We are investigating these cases individually. Please contact support if you believe you were meant to receive compensation but have not.

Update!

We are now confident that we will be able to return character experience as well as any fight-related achievements that were unlocked during the rollback.

We do not yet have a date for when this will happen, as the process requires a large amount of extracting and cross-referencing data, but we will update you as soon as we can on when you can expect to receive experience back.

Please note that if you have unlocked any achievements that were rolled back since the rollback was complete, your character will not receive additional experience for that achievement (TL;DR: You won't get double achievement rewards).

The team is still working on a possible process for returning profession experience, but at this time, we cannot confirm if we will be able to return rolled back profession experience.

Update: Experience was returned to most accounts affected by the rollback during the maintenance period. Today's experience return includes achievements related to dungeons and monsters, fight experience, and profession experience that was lost during the rollback.

Please note, we are aware of some edge cases where accounts that used the character transfer service during the rollback period may not have received their experience. These cases are being grouped together by the team and will be re-credited during next Tuesday's maintenance.
