Significant Fixes Since the Beta

We want to thank the players for actively helping with bug reporting in this beta. It allowed us to quickly isolate issues and fix them for this launch. To show how grateful we are, every player who logged in to the beta will get three Gladiatrool admission tokens delivered right to their bank, in the resource category! Here's a summary of the major new elements:

Gladiatrool

Balancing

  • The Longius Tonic has been replaced by the Criticus Tonic.
  • The Mutatio Tonic has been heavily revised.
  • Mobs that use level to determine their resistances (Moon, Zilla, etc.) will randomly appear from level 1 to 5.
  • Bonuses granted after beating a room have been tweaked and now offer bonuses to critical hit rate, range, summoning, etc.
  • Close-combat weapons now have a 1 AP reduction line.
  • The layout of rooms 9 and 10 have been changed to limit the obstruction of mobs.

Fixes and Other

  • The various rewards offered by Gladiatrade can now be purchased!
  • The roulette wheel interface for the Gladiatrool has been revised.
  • If a player gets disconnected in combat, it will no longer cause the other players to be out of sync.
  • Pods no longer affect movement in the Gladiatrool.
  • Gladiatrool tokens and Gladiokens are now resources instead of quest items, so they can be shared between characters on the same account.
    • These are now account-linked after being acquired.

Other Changes

  • To make it more distinct from other mounts and allow for new possibilities, the Karnage has been modified: (level 100) +1 MP, +50% damage -> +1MP, +10 fixed damage.
  • Kamas are no longer taken by a zaap if the destination is invalid.
  • Backup scripts have been optimized: the wait time before you can access the server during backup has been reduced.
  • We've added 10 more icons for custom sets.
  • You can no longer equip a pet and a mount at the same time using custom sets.

New Activities

Tragic The Gardening (TTG) Cards Collection

A new account quest* has been added to the Trool Fair. Offered by Ennu Prof, it will have you assist with her research by collecting cards bearing the monster represented! Get out your bags and your collector's binder, because we're introducing a card collection system in the form of Tragic The Gardening. This initial version contains over 450 monster cards, plus some with iconic characters from the World of Twelve, divided into over 40 different families. Once Ennu gives you a card binder, you'll be able to get packs by killing monsters, and you can browse through each family to view your progress. Every monster in the game has a chance to drop a pack representing its family (e.g. a Gobball, Gobball War Chief, or Royal Gobball may drop a Gobball family pack). Be aware that summons cannot get a card pack, and that prospecting and challenges have no effect on a pack's drop rate. The packs cannot be obtained within the Bonta or Brakmar arena. There is no limit on the number of packs that may drop in a single fight.A card's rarity is represented by a star, ranging from 1 star for the most common to 4 for the most rare. This affects the chance of getting a pack at the end of a fight and the drop rate when opening one. Finally, new workshops where you can manage your excess cards have been built near Ennu Prof. Will you make it to the end of this journey and get the new exclusive rewards for this activity? Anything's possible when you put your faith in the cards…* An account quest will have progress shared by all characters on the same account, but the rewards (items, experience points, kamas, etc.) can only be obtained once, by the character who completes the stage. Also, a card added to the binder will be earned by all characters on the account.
** Titles are only active if the items are equipped and the player has over 43 complete families (normal or foil version).

Opening of the Gladiatrool

Following lengthy renovations, Notend Less is finally opening his attraction to the public! The famous Gladiatrool offers any character at level 50 and above, alone or with another adventurer, a random dungeon with 10 random rooms. Each is full of procedurally generated groups of monsters.* Naturally, the more you progress, the higher the difficulty – but the gladioken* prize you earn gets greater as well.To start a new session, the player must pay an admission token* and stand on one of the 12 class tiles. Then they'll turn into the class selected, with preset characteristics and level 5 spells. The character's equipment is not taken into account when characteristics are calculated inside the Gladiatrool. Instead, you'll improve as you explore the rooms through a system of tonics: powerful bonuses that will be randomly offered in a new roulette wheel to appear at the end of each fight. Will your character be balanced, fragile yet powerful, or even a specialist with modified spells? That's up to you… but be aware that one defeat is final: you'll lose all the gladiokens* earned in a session. Luckily, if you think the monsters are too strong, you can throw in the towel at any time by talking to the NPC; you'll get all the gladiokens* earned up to that point.Bear in mind that if you're logged out before you choose a tonic, the server will assign one to you at random.* Participation tokens have a chance to drop from most monsters in the game, like a guildalogem.
** Titles are only visible if the items are equipped and the player has earned the reward corresponding to the title beforehand by talking to Gladiatrade.

Graphical Fixes

  • Leonzi Trool and the Woyal Guawd have a new appearance.
  • To keep the timeline of fighters from getting cluttered, dead entities are now removed instead of grayed out (like a summoned entity).
  • Dead entities no longer add empty or offset rectangles to the timeline of fighters when a player joins a fight in spectator mode.
  • The inventory filter now correctly shows the category chosen (instead of "Equipment") when you open the interface.
  • During the Break Wind emote, the Paladin's Dragoturkey no longer has the wrong expression.

Remastered-Only Fixes

  • Fixed animation speeds for Bankers, Shika Ingalsse, and the Dark Vlad Dopple.

Usability and Improvements

Custom Set Function

Your inventory is getting a new feature! The custom set function lets you equip, with a single click, an ensemble that you've saved. To do so, simply equip the gear you want, open the Custom Set tab, choose an ensemble to save it, and press the save button. To equip an ensemble, simply double-click the icon of the ensemble or press the load button.
  • Up to 10 ensembles can be saved.
  • Each ensemble can have a customized name and icon.
  • You can click on an ensemble's icon to preview the ensemble before equipping it.

Streamlined Shortcut Bar

The revamped shortcut bar is more flexible now. It used to be an inventory separate from the backpack; among other things, this made it impossible to store items other than consumables or stack items already in the shortcut bar.In the updated version, any item placed in this bar no longer disappears from the backpack, instead acting as a "shortcut" to this item.By extension, you can add any item type to the shortcut bar (resources, quest items, equipment, soul stones, etc.) and use them from there. Quantities will also be automatically refreshed after an item is looted or crafted, making it possible to track the progress of a particular resource without opening your inventory.

Revamped Soul Stone Marketplace

The marketplace for soul stones had quite a few issues with game client instability, frustrating players. So, we thoroughly modified how it works to make it better suited to its use:
  • Soul stones are now organized by category (soul stone, archmonster soul stone, etc.).
  • Once a category is chosen, instead of showing the available items, a list of monsters will appear. This list gives all the monsters available in the marketplace in the category selected.
    • For example, choosing the category "Dungeon Keeper Soul Stone" will show monsters such as Royal Gobball, Ougaa, Bworker, and so on.
  • This list is automatically generated based on the contents of all soul stones available for sale: by clicking on a monster, you'll see all the offers containing this monster out of all soul stones.
    • The limit on putting a soul stone up for sale has been removed, but the marketplace will only show the first 1,000 offers for the monster selected, from least to most expensive, to avoid overloading the game client.
  • The search function has been updated to work the same as a standard marketplace, but searching for monsters instead of items.

Additional Item Filters Added

With the arrival of Tragic The Gardening Cards, it became necessary to free up the consumables tab to keep it all from getting mixed up and resulting in endless inventories… To that effect, a new filter button has been added to the backpack. Satisfied but left wanting more, we took the idea even further and decided to do the same with two more item categories: soul stones and smithmagic runes. From now on, in your inventory, in exchanges, and in workshops, you'll see these three new filters. We believe this will make your inventories much clearer. And with the addition of sub-categories for stones, you can easily show, for example, only dungeon keepers.Bags at the feet of a player in merchant mode now also have a specific appearance if the seller only has soul stones, smithmagic runes, or cards.

End-of-Fight Screen

  • Fixed an issue that kept bonus stars from appearing.
  • The avatars of characters still alive at the end of a fight are now shown next to their name.
  • A slimmed-down version of this screen can be accessed with the reduce button next to the close button; this only shows your character and lets you move around on the map even if it's open. The map will automatically close when you join a fight – and it status is saved in the game cache.
  • A line with your experience or kamas earned will appear in the chat if you earn any at the end of a fight.

Other Changes

  • Previewing an item in the smithmagic workshop now shows two extra lines.
  • The keyboard shortcut used to merge runes in the smithmagic workshop will now work in any workshop in the game.
  • Spells earned from leveling up or using a spell scroll are now automatically added to the shortcut bar.
  • The color of the "!" quest symbol above an NPC's head will now indicate what type of quest they give:
    • Green for a regular quest
    • Blue for a daily quest
    • Purple for an account quest
  • The /whois command also shows the date automatically.

Non-Combat Fixes

Crafting Workshops

  • Fixed an issue that made it possible to launch multiple queues, speeding up the crafting process.
  • The leftover XP after going up a profession level is now correctly factored into the next level.
    • For example, if a cloak granted 200 XP and it took 50 points to level up, the other 150 points would've been lost.
  • The success rate and experience points from a recipe are now correctly refreshed after leveling up, without needing to leave the workshop and then come back.

Other Changes

  • Fixed an issue causing the player to get logged out after multiple use of items (e.g. Kwismas gifts).
  • The max. number of pods is now correct when leaving combat if the player had a strength bonus from a spell.
  • It is no longer possible to get attacked by a monster on the other side of the map while harvesting.
  • The experience bar for a profession no longer says "undefined" if a player levels up by using an experience scroll.
  • Fixed an issue where damage was increased by 7% instead of healing by +7 when 3 items in the Criminal Set were equipped.
  • Skeunk's Gem is no longer sold for the wrong price in strokens.

Combat Fixes

Corrected the element in the effect "x HP lost for every x AP used".

This effect has always been applied as neutral damage. The issue was that a Sadida character could cause the Elemental challenge to fail with their Paralyzing Poison, described as fire in its description, if used with other fire spells. The element is now correctly applied to all AP poisons.Bear in mind that damage calculation for all poisons of this type was already done properly, on the basis of the spell's element, and if not reduced by resistance or armor, the power of affected spells remains the same. The relevant spells are:
  • Paralysing Poison
  • Paralysing Volva
  • Dopplesque Paralysing Poison
The other spells, such as Lethal Blunder, aren't affected because they were neutral element.

Other Changes

  • The Clean Hands challenge has been fixed to match the description:
    • It no longer fails when you hit a monster with direct damage.
    • Sadida poisons no longer fail the challenge.
  • Fixes applied to the Roulette spell:
    • The effect "+ x to Healing" correctly appears in the information channel if the effect targets allies, enemies, or everyone.
    • The effect "Miss the next turn" now shows whether the caster is affected or not.
  • Fixed an issue causing the player to miss their turn if the shortcut was set for the space bar and the player

The game servers have been updated on November 30, 2022. Here's a list of changes:

Usability and Improvements

  • The TTG Card Binder interface has gotten a thorough overhaul. You can now filter your collection more easily and view statistics on your progress at any time!
  • Added the option to insert a card in the chat from the TTG binder by pressing Shift and clicking on a card
  • Fixed a problem that was preventing verification of consecutive spell casts when the actions were taken too quickly.

Non-Combat Fixes

  • Fixed a problem with use of the Khamelerost potion.
  • Fixed a problem that could sometimes block Timmy Famboi from talking to the player for an hour.
  • Fixed a problem with the maximum threshold for the Kwismas Reindeer pet. Pets that are already blocked at 86 Prospecting are now no longer blocked.
  • Fixed a problem with incorrect display of average marketplace prices.
  • Fix for messages interpreted incorrectly in the alignment channel.
  • Fixed a problem with delinking of an item saved to the shortcut bar or a custom set in the following cases:
    • when a pet lost HP due to lack of food
    • when a soul-eater pet was fed
    • when an ethereal weapon was repaired
    • when a pet was revived
    • when an item was smithmaged
The game servers were updated on December 14, 2022. The following changes have been applied:

Usability and improvements:

  • The TTG card binder now features progress bars for each family, letting you glance at how far you've advanced with normal or foil version.
    • Also, you can now add a card directly from the binder, as long as the binder is in the player's inventory; this option is represented by a bag icon.
  • A weapon can now be equipped automatically if the conditions for wearing it are fulfilled by its effects (no longer necessary to use a stamp item).
  • The totems summoned by Darkli Moon have been reduced in size to make combat clearer.

Non-combat fixes:

  • When a soul is removed from a soul stone for the Ochre Dofus quest, the stone given back to the player is correctly updated (if, for example, there are no more dungeon keepers, the stone returned to the player is a basic blue soul stone). Please note: this fix only applies to future soul stones; it is not retroactive.
  • Fixed a regression bug that allowed perceptors to collect loot that shouldn't have been collected (e.g. Treechorn, Cracklerock, etc.).
  • Fixed the order of effects that was reversed in the tooltip when mousing over an item.

Gladiatrool:

  • A summon's HP is now fixed, based on level 200 instead of the player's level.
  • The spawn rules for monsters with variants (Tynrils, Tanuki-Chan Ghost, Skeunk dolls, etc.) have been modified. Instead of counting as four different monsters when a group is formed (Stunned Tynril, Dismayed Tynril, and so on), they now count as just one monster that will randomly spawn as one of its four variants. This will cause the spawn rate of monsters with variants to decrease.
  • The Ougaa has been removed from the Gladiatrool because it was much more difficult than other monsters.
  • Snailmetalika the Garagician no longer spawns at max level; his initiative is therefore reduced.
The game servers were updated on December 20, 2022. Here is the list of changes.

Non-Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue causing players to get logged out when opening the TTG card binder. We took advantage of this fix to optimize the interaction between the server and the game client with this interface.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing players from deleting their characters.
  • Fixed an issue that made certain summons (e.g., The Ultra-Powerful) unable to be played correctly.
The game servers were updated on January 25, 2023. Here is the list of changes.

Usability and Improvements

Information banner

  • An icon is now displayed in the information banner when a character is under the effect of a candy or Pandala blessing
  • The display of states in the information banner during fights has been improved:
    • The name of the state is now shown under the icon.
    • The majority of spells cast by characters and monsters now have a state icon.

Other Changes

  • The slimmed-down end-of-fight window has been improved and now shows Perceptor loot. If the latter has obtained items during the fight, a Perceptor icon appears on the interface. A list of items obtained is displayed when the cursor is moved over it.
  • Kromatic Tokens are now linked to the account and have been moved to the resources category, which means they can be transferred between characters on the same account.
  • The Gigantic Kralove applies the "Bogged Down" state instead of "Confusion" at the start of combat. The effect is the same: It prevents the "Paralyzing Poison" spell from being cast.
  • The colors of Maho Firefoux have been changed to make the monster more distinct from Soryo Firefoux.

Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that prevented a dead character from being properly removed from the fighters' panel during combat.
The game servers were updated on February 1, 2023. Here is the list of changes.

Usability and improvements:

  • The shortcut bar no longer transitions to "spells" mode while entering the preparation phase. This now happens when the fight starts, making its items easier to use/equip during the preparation phase.

Non-combat fixes:

  • To reduce the tensions that can arise when houses go up for sale during the first maintenance periods of the month, the "Abandoned house" status is no longer displayed.
  • The summary of experience/kamas etc. earned from the last fight in the information chat is no longer displayed at the end of a fight in spectator mode.
  • Fixed a bug that could select the wrong item under certain conditions by using right click in the inventory.

The game servers were updated on March 8, 2023. Here is the list of changes.

Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Gigantic Kralove would apply the Targeted state (applies a 25% weakness to everything).
