Usability and Improvements

Spells

  • Spell icons have changed: Instead of displayed pixelated images, we will now use vectorized shapes to increase quality and decrease the client's footprint. We are also taking this opportunity to align the design used between the Classic and Remastered versions.

  • Areas of effect in the spell details interface now show the relevant shape. This means you no longer need to hover over the generic icon to see a spell's area of effect. For example:
  • The spell details interface has been enlarged to show more text, especially when listing a spell's effects.
  • You can now switch two spells' positions in the spell bar without one of them vanishing from it.

Gift Interface

  • When logging into a server, the list of gifts no longer appears automatically; you must now click a dedicated button that appears when you have pending gifts.
  • The player can browse the list of pending gifts in their interface.
  • You can now assign one or more pending gifts to one character at a time – just select the "My Gifts" option when assigning them to select the gifts you want to assign. Please note that gifts must be assigned in the order indicated by the interface.

Group Combat

  • The appearance of the clickable sword to join a fight changes if one of the characters in your group is in the fight. This change is intended to make it easier to find the fight you want if there is more than one fight on the map. This change only affects player-versus-monster fights.

Other Changes

  • Allied Srams who are invisible will now be visible to their teams to make it easier to see what is going on in the fight. It should be noted that the way it works is unchanged in spectator mode and for the opposing team. This change also affects traps.
  • You can now remove a shortcut (spell or item) from the shortcut bar with a right click.
  • At the end of a fight, Dofus are now visible at the top of the list of loot instead of at the bottom.
  • You can now use the /roll roleplay command to do a dice roll that is visible to everyone on the map (or in the guild).
  • The maximum level of a Livitinem is now shown next to its current level so you can see its progress without having to feed it unnecessarily.

Non-Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that would cause the perceptor's icon to appear on the end-of-fight screen even if it hadn't obtained anything during the fight.
  • Fixed the "NaN" that appeared in the copyright label on the login screen.

Combat Fixes

  • A character in the Gravity state can no longer be moved by position switching (e.g., transposition).
  • Fixed an issue that would display a permanent black screen when logging back into a fight under certain conditions.
  • Fixed an issue displaying health points as a percentage in the banner – rounding is now done to the higher value so that it is no longer possible to have "0%".
  • Fixed an issue that made it possible to kick an allied NPC in mixed combat (e.g., Louse Degraine's quest) before the fight started.

A bug fix was applied during maintenance on June 14, 2023. Here is a list of the changes:

Temporis

Class

CraArrow Cordon:
  • Number of casts per turn: 2 at all ranks
EniripsaFlower Up:
  • The damage boost also applies to the summoner of the flower.
Injunction:
  • Limited to 2 casts per turn.
SadidaCrescent Moon:
  • Line of sight has been removed.

Scrollmagic

Bottomless Bag:
  • Turns to recast: Infinite => 10 (the condition that only one chest can be present on the field is unchanged)
  • Fix: If the chest dies, a team member can now re-summon a new one.
  • Fix: A revived player can again summon a chest as long as there is not already one on the team.
Energy Crystal:
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the Crystal spell from working once it was teleported elsewhere.
  • The spell now has a critical hit which increases the Crystal's effects.

Other Changes

  • Spells obtained on special occasions (Game Master events, Twitch Drops, etc.) are no longer counted toward the overall percentage of spells learned. Therefore, players are no longer required to learn them to achieve 100% of spells known.
  • A new challenge room is available at floor -43 if the main quest has been completed.
    • These 6 new challenges are combat ideas for the Tower that were not kept for the main quest, and have not been tested all that thoroughly to ensure that they can be completed… Good luck!
  • Fixed a problem that prevented players from obtaining the Black-Spotted Dofus.
  • New spell icons used in Temporis now fit correctly (size and centering) in the spell frame.
  • Fixed a problem where certain effects were not shown when reconnecting to a fight, like the Cra's passive or the Iop's passive, preventing players from benefiting from these effects.

Usability and Improvements

  • Goultard's appearance has been modified in-game to make it more similar to his current design.
  • Since version 1.40.5, it is no longer possible to unlink a Mimisymbic from an equipped item, and the option was removed from the context menu, but this change was causing confusion and a risk of deleting the item if the player was choosing options too quickly. We now show this option grayed out to maintain the old structure of the context menu and avoid any mishaps.
  • Emotes and smileys used by ignored characters are no longer displayed.

Non-Combat Fixes

  • Fixed multiple item effects that were showing an ID instead of the translated text.
    • For example, the tailor manual was showing "Learn the 27 profession" instead of "Learn the Tailor profession".
  • Corrected an issue that was sending a cryptic message (**121021921**) to the spectator channel. This was actually a Livitinem message that was not being interpreted.
  • Fixed an issue that caused an account quest to be shown as "in progress" and "validated" at the same time, when the quest was still in progress.

Combat Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the information displayed in the information banner of a character in a fight (health points, AP, MP, resistances, etc.) was being updated even if it wasn't the right character being moused over.
  • Added a message in the information channel when a spell increases trap damage.
  • Transformations in combat (e.g. Moowerewolf form) now correctly show the start-of-turn illustrations and correctly modify the appearance in the medallion in the banner.
  • Fixed an issue with the Trumperelle's Jumpy Blower spell that caused the spell to loop repeatedly without losing AP or applying the effects.
  • Fixed an issue with the Reapalak's Reaping spell that was not summoning a monster when it killed a character.
  • Fixed a problem that was delaying a spell's effects from being received in combat until another action was performed.
  • The following fixes relate to inconsistencies between different levels of the same spell, or incorrect spell settings back in 1.29:
    • Impalement (Grossewer Rat, Chaferfu Lancer, etc.): no longer has modifiable range.
    • Harpooning (Raul Mops): did not have a minimum range to be used at grade 1 of this monster.
    • Explosive Bark (Barkritter): had the wrong range for grade 1 of this monster.
    • Valve (Kido): never pushed targets due to incorrect spell settings.
    • Stunning Blow (Deminoball): was inflicting direct damage even though it was a poison spell.
