Reunification of the Dofus

A new quest has appeared in Feudala for the World of Twelve's most dedicated players. Adventurers who have obtained one of the Primordial Dofus can now meet Jack Kitshan, a spirit from a long-extinct generation of priests, and set out on a mission to restore the radiance of fragments corresponding to each of the Dofus. A fragment acts as a soul-eater when equipped, and is linked to the owner of the original Dofus; for example, Aerafal's Fragment for the Emerald Dofus is linked to Dark Vlad, the Evil Forest, bandits, and so on. The magic will only work on freshly harvested souls, however – monsters from soul stones won't do the trick. So you'll have to be bold in choosing the best area to fill each fragment to overflowing with fresh souls! To reward the efforts of players who make it to the end of this quest, a magnificent livitinem cape can be crafted and worn as an ultimate trophy, unlocking an exclusive aura and title. Although it can be traded, the cape can only be worn by the most worthy adventurers – those who hold the 6 Primordial Dofus.

Usability and Improvements

Guilds

Customizable Rank Names
The guild leader can now modify the names of each rank in their guild. They can define up to 36 names at once. To do this, go to a member's rights page, select the rank you want to rename, and edit it by clicking the edit button. Once saved, the rank name will be changed for all members with that rank.Note: Custom rank names must be at least 3 characters long.

Guild Message
A new information area has been added in the guild header. Members with posting rights can make changes to the text shown here (up to 256 characters). When a message is posted, the author and posting date are updated in the interface. The message is sent to all members when they log in or when it is posted.

New Tab: "Information"
This tab allows all guild members to read the information written in the notepad. Members with posting rights can make whatever changes they like here (up to 2,560 characters), and certain tags can also be used to format the text and make it easier to read. When a message is posted, the author and posting date are updated in the interface.

New Rights
  • Retrieve loot from own perceptors: Allows the member to retrieve loot from their own perceptors, but not from those of other members
  • Be the main Perceptor defender: Allows the member to replace (or avoid being replaced by) a member without this right if the list of defenders is full
  • Modify the guild message: Allows the member to make changes to the guild message
  • Modify guild information: Allows the member to make changes to the guild information

Members Tab
  • The guild leader is now identified by a crown next to their rank
  • The button to display a member's rights is now always visible
  • A member's rights page now displays a visual overview of the member

Customization Tab
  • The button to place a perceptor has been moved to the Perceptor tab
  • The label with the current/maximum number of perceptors has been moved to the Perceptor tab

Perceptor Tab
  • An icon is now displayed to indicate whether the player is the owner of the perceptor
  • In the past, perceptors in the list were sorted only by the perceptor's state (in harvesting or combat mode). They are now sorted in the following order:
    • Perceptor belongs to player
    • Perceptor's state (harvesting or combat)
    • The dates when the perceptor was placed, from most recent to oldest

Paddock Tab
Mounts are displayed as icons in the interface rather than when mousing over a text, allowing you to quickly see the mount type and how many are in a paddock
  • The mount's sex is now displayed when mousing over it
  • The mounts that belong to the player are highlighted

Other Changes
  • The layout of the Guild interface header has been updated
  • The "Modify" button in the window for a member is now grayed out if no changes have been made for XP sharing, rights or custom rank names
    • This button has been renamed to "Save"

Change to items with skins

Association of ceremonial items is now unlimited, and now works like a Livitinem: simply drag and drop the ceremonial item onto the equipped item to assign it the new appearance. You can also double-click on the ceremonial item if a compatible item is equipped. Therefore, you no longer need to have a Mimisymbic to associate a ceremonial item, and the Mimisymbic is no longer returned when the ceremonial item is dissociated from it.Note: All Mimisymbics already consumed on ceremonial items before the update have been returned (bank and inventory).

Other Changes

  • It is now possible to smithmage an item with a skin or an item that's linked to the account (in cooperative crafting, only the customer can add an item linked to the account)
  • It is again possible to dissociate a ceremonial item without having to unequip it
  • A button to quickly dissociate a ceremonial item has been added to the item information window:
  • As with Livitinems, it is no longer possible to equip a ceremonial item directly – it must be associated with an item
  • To avoid erroneous actions, it is now impossible to delete Livitinems

Remote Spectator Mode

It is now possible to spectate a mutual friend's or fellow guild member's fight by clicking on the sword next to their name, no matter where you or they are located! When the fight ends, spectators are automatically returned to their original maps.

End-of-Fight History

A clickable link has been added to the text stating that the fight is over. Clicking on this link displays the end-of-fight screen and all information about the fight. Users can view the results of up to 15 previous fights before the link expires.

Change to how points are displayed in combat

The system that displays points (AP used, HP lost, etc.) above each character has been modified, and now offers two different themes:
  • A classic theme that reproduces the appearance of the Remastered version.
  • A modern theme with animations specific to each type of point (damage, healing, etc.), more muted colors, and a system that changes the size of points based on the power of the blow

Other Changes

  • A '+' sign is added before the value for HP, AP and MP bonuses
  • Display of points is now centered on the value (the sign is omitted)
  • Points are now shifted upwards if a fighter is targeted
  • If a fighter is too high up on the map, the points are shifted downwards

Aggregation of points in combat

When a spell hits multiple targets (e.g. Explosive Arrow), an additional line with the total damage inflicted is now added at the end of the information channel. If the spell has multiple lines of damage (e.g. Bush Fire), the total will be shown on the same line in purple, followed by the details in parentheses. This same total will also appear above the character, instead of damage values one after the other (this can be disabled with an option).

Health bar displayed when mousing over a character

It is now possible to display a fighter's HP as a health bar, letting you see at a glance how much of their maximum HP they have left (bonuses/penalties and erosion are updated automatically). This bar is updated automatically, even if the mouse is not moved.

Visual Changes to Tooltips

The tooltips displayed when mousing over an element now have a new style that makes the text easier to read. In addition, certain texts (like the tooltip for an inventory item or a spell) are now formatted for improved readability. Finally, items with multiple lines of effects no longer cause a delay in displaying the tooltip.

Visual changes to XP Bar

The XP bar on the end-of-fight screen has been modified to make more room for experience points, while also making it long enough to make your progress readily visible. In addition, the bar now highlights the XP gained at the end of the fight so that you can see exactly how much you've gained. This feature also takes the loss of honor points into account.

Other Changes

  • The limit on displayed items in the bank and in the inventory has been increased from 1,000 to 3,000 different items
  • It is now possible to add account-linked items or indestructible items to workshops as part of a recipe (only one recipe for now)
    • Ingredients currently inserted are not destroyed if the recipe is invalid and at least one of the ingredients is an indestructible item

  • The simplified end-of-fight screen has been placed higher to make it easier to click on a teleportation spot at the bottom of a map
  • The spell interface can now filter spells to show only the spells that can be improved
  • The average price of an item is now updated as soon as a purchase is made in a marketplace
  • An item's base effects are now displayed as soon as it is selected in a marketplace

  • Equipped items' characteristics are now displayed when mousing over those items
  • It is now possible to bring up the context menu by right-clicking on an equipped item
  • The "E" shortcut now hides prisms
  • Right-clicking on a marketplace NPC now opens it directly instead of talking with an NPC
  • End-of-fight loot is now sorted in the following order: Dofus > Soul Stones > Quest items > TTG packs > Tokens > Ethereal armor > Other, then by average marketplace price from most to least expensive
  • Emma and Thomas Sacre no longer target players in banks in both cities
