The Porco Territory is an island just off the southern tip of the continent. There's a bridge.
yes, it's realy worth the leveling ^^ it's a nice block too and when you are in big danger (e.g. when you're PvP'ing an iop and your almost dead) the living shovel can get you away from him so you can heal and/or kill the iop
As Zarnal-Ahkna tells u it is a big help in getting away (since it pushes the enemy back a few places).
On the other hand, maybe not worth lvling it to lvl 5(or6).
since I wear my DP set (I'm 113) I rarely use the spell.
Most enemies are dead in 1 round (2x slaughtering shovel +-700 hp).
So it's possible you can take them 1 by 1 or by 2 every round.
I'd say lvl 2 or 3 at the most...combined with a decent clumsiness will grand you enough time to do them in...
leaving 7 or more spellpoints available
It's pretty useful to me in PvM, even at lv3 (I think thats where I have it).
I use it in fights with large mobs to help distract and occupy part of the mob, whilst I deal more ah....directly with the other monsters. The knockback is nice, but it's really a meat shield with a fair amount of HP. This is really useful on maps with starting positions close to the mob.
With 10ap I often cast it AND Living Bag near each other. The Living Bag then casts Sacrifice on both my enu and the Living Shovel, sharing the protection from Bag. Lv6 Bag has very good res in several elements, so this keeps the Shovel alive pretty well.
I haven't decided whether to level it further, but it's not going to be delevelled. That I know.
Later edit: I've noticed one more thing that's pretty nice about Living Shovel. It often gets surrounded by monsters attacking it, especially when I summon it in the middle of a mob. When those monsters use attacks with knockback, the monsters on the other side of the shovel are damaged as well as the Living Shovel. I had one fight (Lousy Pigs/Knights) recently where these attacks did as much damage to the monsters as they did to the shovel. By the time I got around to these guys, they were already beaten up pretty well.
I'm still high 40s and I like Wabbit Island unless I'm also looking for various mats/farming options. Good xp/time for many groups once you realize what is too much for you to handle and get a feel for how a map will play out.
Porco Territorry in my opinion is very boring was doable early 40s. Lately I feel I've been getting more efficient solo leveling on Wabbit Island and should have come here sooner. Easy to kite mobs around as many have mostly linear and close ranged attacks. Plus Wabbit drop Cawwots which are more valuable than anything the Piglets drop.
Another good 2 person I've been doing lately is Scaraleaf Plains. Just go with a friend that has a complimentary element. I typically go with a friend who has a fire Cra around my level. We tend to target groups with mostly blue and red mobs in a roughly equal split. I only mention 2 people as it is often easier to find 1 person than 4-6 for a series of Kani groups or what not.
As for Bag I am not a fan. I tend to either Bag early and often or not at all with the rare emergency drop. I think the Bag is quite often stupid and without the utility of him also affecting teammates he just isn't worth the points yet.
Level 48 with 5 in Coins, Ghostly, Fortune and , Clumsiness and 3 in Reducing. Waiting for Acceleration and then plan on putting that to 3 so I can max the bigger water nukes when I get them. As for Bag I think it will have to wait until closer to level 100. I will want more points in Reducing and Acceleration before Bag yet want to have points to max Living Chest ASAP.
Fungi Masters inhabit a wide area outside the south Bonta gate. You won't have to search far for them....
A few points in reply:
1) Living Bag's AI has been modified recently and I think it's a good bit smarter now. I've noticed the bag will move well away from you at times, setting up a nice sacrifice change of position for your enu. It's quite helpful in this at times, extracting you from immediate danger and giving you a chance to move even further away where your range helps you more. Don't underestimate the usefulness of this indirect map manipulation.
2) Living Bag has much better resistance at lv5 and lv6, making it a lot more durable in PvM. At lv48, levelling it isn't a big priority, but you'll find it much more helpful as you cross the lv100 mark.
3) The Sacrifice spell your bag casts has a 2X2 square range, so if you cast it near yourself and another player close to you, both of you can be protected by the bag. This is sometimes, but not always helpful to your partner. I've done it by accident and regretted it, but skillful choices can be made.
The only spot they do spawn ins the Bonta Pasture, north East of Bonta, but there are a lot of paddocks there so not many maps that have monsters on them.
Sorry everyone!
yeh ok try finding a group of them without one of the
little turds that makes you skip every turn until your dead.
As an enu unless you like mega slow leveling you gotta leech
the entire game even if you make second account to your iop
cra sadi.
Mines nearly 126 and i leveled it on gobball soul stones
until the point in the game where it can use a hammer
where it may be a bit faster to kill things.
131 on enu,got metal hammer which means
no axel and no 10 ap.The leveling guide sucks.
The time it takes to find a group with just a few
monsters in so the fight dont take ages and
the xp cap is ok is unreal.
That's rich coming from someone who didn't bother to try and just got leeched at frigost. This guide is pretty accurate, the mobs on otomai are decent and it's not hard to find mobs without kilibrisses. Im not sure where you're coming from, my enu leveled relatively quickly once she hit 70.
Also around 70 you can fight drunken pandawas, -chance resist and only 3mp
I would like to add the following:
140: Dark Jungle mobs. These are usually buffed by some yellow and even some red stars, making the xp you gain here quite worth it. They are a bit tricky though, with lots of poisons. Keep an eye on your status effects.
Also, a generally good idea for leveling is to find mobs that you can deal with, bolstered by the bonus xp and drop awarded by stars. These mobs are not hard to find. I can tell you that even at lvl 140 I get pretty good EXP from pandala mobs a bit out of the way. I do have 500+ wisdom, though.
