Pure Support Feca
By AnthonyClark#4670 - SUBSCRIBER - December 17, 2015, 21:57:02Howdy Feca community,
I've finally gotten around to working with my feca and haven't played it since before the revamp. My Feca is around level 60(Fire seems the easiest to level) and I've noticed how there seems to be a much more fleshed out emphasis on damage this time around so I started wondering whether or not a pure support build was still a viable role to play. If so what element/skills should I be utilizing?
I plan on using it to support my Sram.

Update: I found this really conprehensive guide on imps village and decited to go with a Fire/Water hybrid! The range steal, MP steal, and damage prevention will go a long way to complementing my Sram any additional comments are still very welcome!

I, myself, would question if not an eni would work better than a support feca? You would get extra ap, better healings and being able to heal yourself.
On the otherside, if the feca is struck by Peccary sword, the damage will be real. It depends, it depends.
Rampart or Feca shield? I'm unfamiliar with how the latter works which I assume is the one your talking about because Rampart reduces a fixed amount based on your level.
* Feca shield reduces damage by 25% of the final damage. Meaning, this spells is calculated last.
If feca casts armor and shield on himself, I believe he will be the best protected character. But shield can only be cast on one character and armors are weaker on allies than on himself.
Furthermore, armors and shields are fixed on levels. While Masq can improve his shields by better equipement and maging to the extremity.
Masq shields also cover for poison and pushback damage. Whilst feca's protection doesnt. If the ally has 1 hp left, he will be more secure with masq shields.
I will cast my vote on masq on the question of who protects his allies best. But I add in brackets that Feca is a better balanced class.
Fecas are still very good supporters, they just do it more indirectly than healing or masq's shields, messing the opponents up, reducing enemies' stats and their damage, locking enemies, etc.
