I don't know about the others, but to me the class feels less appealing.
First of all, it's sprites looks awful. Compared to newer classes that have awesome outfits, the Feca looks like a boring NPC.
Second, the class is way to supportish. I wanna be the playmaker and see high numbers when I hit something.
Lastely, the class used to have some very boring spell animations and that was one of the reasons why I never liked them. But now they changed it, so...

I'm pretty sure that other players can identify with my reasons and maybe that's why they haven't pick a Feca either.
I'm not saying that the class is bad, but there are two kinds of players on every RPGs. Those who like damage dealers and those who like supporting.

Yeah i get what you're saying.

There are still aton of NPC-like support played, but most are enis or enus. You can still make a Feca deal decent damage while retaining the support aspect, just like enis.

So what makes Feca less appealing than the other lame-o supports?

Well the support part of the class is kinda lacking, the damage is not that great either and the AoE is clunky, people are looking to min/max so in a team, if you want a non heal support, you can pick up a masq and if you are looking for damage you can pick up a hupper.

The class is good, it's not one dimensional like iops and cras, it's more flexible, but with the multi-accounting business model and the retarded boss mechanics why bother with flexibility, you need 100% efficiency.

But imo the feca population is ok.

well its all about preference, the spell animation looks gorgous now. about the outfit, thats what they are. farmer-ish characters living in an farmvile, that drastically change in the wakfu era. because they found new resources to build themself techno-magic
(please let that happen to dofus 3 pls lel).

anyway since mostly new players in RPG like to deal damage they diffidently not gonna take a class with an low limited damage. feca are versatile, pretty crazy dmg with reinforcment, playing with your defensive spells that will be even stronger with good amount of resistent. (resistance is pretty much an must if you wanna play a real feca). but the lack of feca is mostly the problem of lack of population in an server

I think the Feca population is relatively adequate for what it does.

As far as look goes, to each his own, I happen to like the humble farmer look and the reasons OP mentioned he disliked the asthetic, those are the reasons I love it.

Intelligence Fecas can perform as healers if you slap on a healing weapon, granted, its not Eniripsa or Osamodas, but what are people expecting? I use a staff than can heal 1000~1500 provided the critical hits land and thats with no healing investment outside a +16 heal trophy.

I use my Feca purely as support so the damage never bothered me, compared to my Sram who hits like a truck, I've always felt it was average.

There's many Feca's these days. On mono-acc servers I see mostly Eniripsa and feca biggrin

Fecas are good tank/support class', they've never been known for their damage... So I don't know where all this talk of seeing huge damage numbers was coming from cause thats NEVER been the case even before the revamp, perhaps crowd control, but not damage, if you wuna deal damage pick a damage dealing class like Sram, Iop, Eca, or Xelor. There protective shields and debuff spells more than make up for any supposed lack of damage.

I remember when last relevant Feca patch came out in Dofus and the Feca lost lot of his op skills, like invulnerability.
After the rework I have to admit: The class was not really useful anymore, now it's missing a scope, a reason to be played, they improved the damage, but they changed the playstyle in a way it's not really appealing. I personally feel much better playing Feca on the old patch (on Dofus Touch) rather than playing with this new kind of Feca...

Agreed. I'd love to have just the one turn of invulnerability that's unbewitchable instead of those 2 separate long/close range invuln spells. They have their uses but it's pretty meh.

Only thing I really loved about the revamp is the teleporting on glyphs mechanic, aside from that I'd gladly take the old feca back. Better shielding was worth the reduced damage.

Can't wait for spell variants though! I'm hopeful for getting some nice alternative shielding spells.
