Sacrier Rewamp Abuse Has to Stop

I been playing this game since from the time almost it came out. As a sacrier player im sick of getting my future plans (builds) getting destroyed over and over again same goes with the Sacrier itself. So i have some ideas. Sacriers are berserkers, atleast they were since Ankama published the very first rewamp for them and now they removed punishments and i feel like ruined it even more with suffering system which both doesnt suit their role at all, they should get stronger when they are hurt not the other way around. My suggestion is mix both. Give sacrier's punishments back but keep the suffering system also people will choose which punishment to go; Bloodthirsty punishment : adds sacrier 1 suffer bar each time they are hurt (taken damage) and each suffer bar adds them %3 more damage, 10 suffer is max. Robust punishment same as Bloodythirsty punishment but each suffer bar gives them %2 Damage reduction, 10 suffer is max. both of these states has no penalties but only boosts sacrier. Spell rework: Punishment : deals %3 damage of sacrier's MAX HP each bloodythirsty suffering gives it %3 more damage max can be %30 and removes all of the suffering from Sacrier (No more %50 hp drama) when used. Another Spell; Convalescence Heals %3 of sacrier's MAX HP each robust suffer bar add %3 more heal and consumes all the suffering they have when used.
About general spells: instead of giving sacrier 1 chargeable with good damage potential weird spell, 1 mobilty and 1 defansive spell on each element give them 1 self hitting but also good damage dealing damage spell, 1 mobilty and 1 defansive spell on each elements. This will make the Sacriers more fun more versatile more suitable to their role and balanced imo.
After all these years finally i started to lose my faith in ankama  even tho i was a silent player (in forums, comments etc) they accually made me make a topic. Have more ideas but no point wasting more time writing i guess..

These are my suggestions please share your thoughts would it be balanced and fun ? or vice versa ?

Its a beta, half of the skills dont work yet and there might be some tuning to how the existing ones scale, but yes, if the current sacrier goes live as now... Well, we know who the next non-played class will be

Thats what im worried about they couldnt even do any good when they were fully focused on the sacrier. This time they have 17 more classes spells variants and minor reworks to balance also ?? RIP.

I quit playing after the last Sacrier changes. This class  is just a mess now and as it seems it will stay like that. I have no more interest in this class , so Ankama please be so kind and give us at least a class change potion, please!!!

I totally feel you and agree with you class change potion is a must instead of magical orb. Its getting worse and worse every update/rework. i have realized that devs are not fair about making classes at all, have you seen the elio variants they are perfectly designed and accually makes sense. I feel like they are taking sides. We are staying like this till ankama stops taking sides or accually start caring about sacrier and its community imo.

I completely agree, Sacri is even more jacked up on beta, i dread for the once beloved class.

As soon as i saw the 50% discount on classchange this weekend, i went for it.
I just couldnt take the abuse towards Sacri anymore.

GL to whoever clings on, i hope Ankama will wake up from their Cra/Iop/Enu/Panda dreams soon. smile

Why fall for the nerfclass=buychange trap? The best solution would be to just create a new character and wait for the sacrier to be good again.

You all just encouraged the "nerf cycle to sell service" scheme. If Ankama earn a lot of revenue out of this, then they will just keep doing it.

Because im not particularly fond of the Sacri on live, and the new one is even worse.

"The best solution" is in the eye of the beholder in this case. To each their own. smile

Besides i dont mind spending a few bucks to be able to enjoy my character again, without having to redo all the hard work ive put into it thus far.

If you don't mind spending money everytime Ankama nerf the class that you change into, then I guess there is no problem. You are the reason why Ankama is doing all these, because this makes you happy and your happiness is their main goal. As long as you are enjoying all these, then all is well.

As for me, I have 8 level 200 character on my active single account because instead of changing class, I just create and level a new character. This way, no matter what class Ankama nerf, I have 7 other classes I can play on.

Problem is those are our mains. The chars we spend lifetime on quests and achievs hell even kolo raiting matters for some, so just because ankama failed to do his own job why should we restart the game with another char or pay for a class change ? But again there is not much else to do for those who wanna keep  their achievs and dont wanna play with their ruined(reworked) classes. They either quit or class change.

Game progress can be re-acquired just as easily as re-leveling to 200. And you won't lose those progress, your sacrier main will still be in your account as you wait for the nerf wheel to pass.

Why should i stop while i can move on ? Repeating everything supposed to be fun ? I guess you can say its easy if you have no life at all. I remember wasting 1 month on cloudy dofus only and hey they just pulled out new dofus questline but i better just start doing all the others with my brand new char just to start it (after a year) which im sure there wont be any prerequisites to start it coz ankama cares for us all. What your doing is out of this topic and isnt a solution.

I barely play maximum of 3 hours a day. Yet I have 8 level 200 and 8 level 180+. It is easy, even for casual gamer like me who works and have a family life. Yes it is easier to just class change everytime your main gets nerfed, but it is more fun to have more than just one character.

And what I am doing is actually the right solution to the problem, you just do not realize the real problem. Ankama nerf sacrier then sell class change at discounted price? And you still do not see what's happening? As long as people like you keep missing the real problem and keep buying those services, Ankama will keep abusing your class. Why? Because you unwittingly paid them to keep doing it. That makes you part of the problem and not the solution to the real problem. You just do not realize it yet.

People can and will choose to play the game how they see fit. There are a lot of people that don't have even close to 3 hours a day to play dofus, let alone level a new character each time there is a nerf (and pass through all of the dofus acquisition achievements which can take months). 

Personally, I like to have a character that I am happy with that I can run through new content and achievements and have fun. If you have fun leveling new characters each time there is a class nerf then so be it!

I would like to say though, that as some prefer to buy class changes (especially at convenient discount prices) so that they can have fun in a game that is supposed to be fun, and they are okay with spending the money, then I support this too. If I wanted to make a new character and get it all of the achievements and such that I currently have on my eca (15k points)...it would take me months (plus a few weeks to get level 200). You do say that this would be "as easy as leveling to 200" but how long would this really take for a casual gamer? Now, how much subscription time is that? In your case, one could say that you might be falling for the "Ankama nerf sacrier (or any other class) so that they get a bunch of extra game content and subscription time out of you."

Ankama makes money in all situations other than the whole "my class got nerfed and now I will live with it until it gets buffed again."

I am subbed one year ahead so Ankama will not be making more money out of me creating more character aside from my purchase of character slots, which actually pay for itself thru ogrine-kama exchange. And I plan from the beginning to create all class in just 1 account. So no, Ankama do not make money in my situation.

Right now, if Ankama nerf my main class, no big deal, I will play on my other class out of 16 level 180+ classes I have previously created.

This thread needs an "abused puppies" video with sacriers, and I need some popcorn because that would be fun to watch.

No disrespect for your cause, though. New sacrier changes are pretty boring. They are not terrible though, just boring as all hell and not enough of an incentive to use.

I don't think that's such a terrible thing to be honest, I haven't checked out the new sac changes yet but just from reading the devblog they seem alright although I have to agree with whoever said it looked boring, I don't really care for managing states but since I've yet to play it I dunno.
