Announcements
In order to improve performance and your in-game comfort, a new update, version 1.30.9, is being rolled out to correct several recurring problems. But we're not stopping there! Our work continues with the upcoming release of a new update in a few weeks' time!
• Performance has been improved in certain cases with the 64-bit client: when displaying a great number of items and when the characters on the map move around.
• The "E" command now makes it possible to hide merchant modes as well.
• Some particularly annoying bugs have been fixed: the end-of-combat bug and the one involving monsters that blocked lines of sight even after dying.
• Cache problems in the 64-bit client have been fixed.
• The DOFUS Retro cache in the 64-bit version is now correctly isolated from the DOFUS 2 cache. It will no longer be reset each time you play version 2.
• The appearance of tactical mode has been improved on a number of maps (black blocks have been fixed).
• Right-clicking the game window has been disabled in the 64-bit version.
• The moonwalk bug (character running on the spot when a new movement is initiated before the character has completed the previous one) has been fixed.

If you are experiencing problems accessing DOFUS Retro since this morning's maintenance, please do let us know what issue you encounter (screenshots help a lot) and what OS you use.
Additionally, we would be grateful if you could also provide your logs, as this would greatly help our teams in finding the origin of the problems you are experiencing.
How do get the logs:
couldnt update through the launcher (only 'play' button).
so i deinstalled dofus retro, tried reinstalling it and it just remains stuck at 100% saying "getting approval from the gods".
tried restarting the launcher, and it was resuming the installation but this time it's stuck to 0% downloading with a 2 year estimated download time.
tried copying the zip files from one of the replies but still couldnt enter the game (saying it's 1.30, not 1.31)
A patch will be deployed this weekend to fix the Windows 32-bit version (alas, you will have to be patient until then
If you haven't already done it (and to limit the impact on game performance), we advise you to turn off animations in the Launcher (you can find this option in the Launcher settings).
Regarding DOFUS Retro gameplay bugs:
A patch is being prepared and will be deployed by the end of the week. We will give you more information as soon as we receive it from the production team.
For MAC users:
A new zip will be available soon, and we will share its link the moment it becomes available.A new zip is available. We continue to monitor your comments and feedback. We are in constant contact with the production team to address the issues you report to us (hence why it can take some time to respond to you, and we apologise).
Thank you for your contributions and your assistance in gathering the needed information.
Here's a short update from the dev responsible for fixing DOFUS Retro gameplay bugs. As soon as it is technically possible, we will deploy patches to address the following:
The people performing these patches work in parallel with those who are addressing the installation issues.
A little patience will be needed before the patches listed above are deployed.
We will keep you informed as soon as we know more.
...and also the weird visual bug that has somehow been introduced by fights (possibly related to resource protectors), which are incredibly obvious in mines.
The patch to fix gameplay issues has been deployed:
Concerning access to DOFUS Retro:
To compensate you for this week's incidents regarding DOFUS Retro and the Ankama Launcher, please accept the code below, which will grant you two days of subscription.
ZAAP122019
This code will expire Sunday, December 1st at 23:45 CET (DOFUS Time) and is only valid once per account.
We wish to thank all the players who reported bugs, as the information provided proved to be of great help.
* In some cases, players can still see mob names as "undefined" under Windows 32-bit. If after clearing the game cache the problem persists, please let us know as soon as possible on the forum.
I'm having the same issue and that didn't fix it for me lol.
We will revert back to a previous DOFUS Retro version, that of Wednesday morning. It will be named 1.30.12, and some bugs will return to the game (for example: black glyphs and MacOS 32-bit issues are back, but the moonwalk bug remains fixed)
This is not a procedure we usually do and it remains an exceptional decision (quite frankly, we weren’t even sure we could do it until a few hours ago) but given the feedback you provide us with and the number of players impacted, there was no other choice.
Unfortunately, this is the only possible solution for the immediate future. Please understand that this is not a rollback: you won’t lose any data nor progress.
We will get back to you next week on this subject.
PS - As a reminder, in order to compensate you for this week’s incidents, here is a code granting you 2 days of subscription: ZAAP122019
Edit: This was probably fixed, but I don't have the chance to test it.
32bit client (don't know about 64), seems to be related to tactical mode. Normal > fight (tactical on) > after fight.
That visual bug you guys talked about existed since the game first launched in 2004, it's the "day time cycle" while you're in combat just like in interstellar space time slows down,so once your out of the fight it's already midnight. JK JK but ye ancient bug
Also please ban the Lumberjack and Miner bots
