Dofus Retro - Devs Ban and Wipe My Pets and Ceremonial Skins for Reporting Exploit

Approximately three weeks ago, I discovered a weird bug and how Ankama dealt with it makes me never wanting to play their games again.

When I logged in to my character on Dofus Retro Boune server I noticed my Nomoon pet died from starvation, which happens to me a lot when I forget to feed it or to put it in a chest. What I was not expecting was to keep the pet with 0hp as well as the ghost version of it, as well as, the skin that was applied, which I presume was the culprit, some bug got introduced when making changes to the ceremonial pets.

Noticing this weird interaction I notified Ankama right away, sending a ticket ( 24/10/2023 #3392814 ) including an explanation as well as screenshots of the pet with 0hp and the ghost.

To which they replied:
Hello -,Thank you for your interest in our game!Unfortunately, for technical reasons, Support does not have the tools required to check if it is a bug directly related to gameplay in this situation.Your request has been forwarded to the relevant team that can perform the analysis required. If it proves to be a bug, a fix will be implemented in one of the upcoming maintenance cycles.You can also share your issue directly on our forum!Thank you for the time you have taken to help us improve the game, and we hope you continue enjoying it.See you soon in the Krosmoz!


as well as this when I asked what to do with the Nomoon.

To which they replied:All good until here, surely they will patch it next week and all will be fixed.And they did fix the bug, but they also started by banning me for 3 days, no warning no email, straight up "Invalid account for 71h...".

Here is where it started going downhill, and I started writing another ticket ( 31/10/2023 #397221)Maybe they were just reviewing my account and issued the ban just to prevent me from accessing it in the meantime. But no, I was banned for 3 full days, after those days, when I finally managed to login I was shocked, EVERY SINGLE PET AND PET CEREMONIAL WAS GONE!

My Kwismas reindeer from last Christmas who just got 90pp, my new Temporis Owl Ceremonial, my wis pet, my int pet, my nomoon and most skins that lately got released in the website.. All gone... Do you think this is fair, I would understand a rollback to my inventory, but deleting collectibles? I trusted in this game for more than 13k hours and this is what made me never log in again.

This is the reply they had to this injustice:
Hello -,We're very sorry about the previous answer.We would also like to thank you for reporting this bug to our teams.The game teams have solved the problem and penalized the abusers. Sorry for this long rant, but I don't think anyone should go through this.

TLDR: Accidently discovered a bug that allows duping pets, reported it to ankama, and so they decided to ban me for 3 days and delete all my pets and ceremonial pets, collectibles from temporis, everything.
I'm not saying I should have kept the duplicated pets, but I mean at least a rollback to my inventory instead of straight up deleting every pet and skin I had.

It seems that support has already replied to you regarding the wrongful ban and settled this matter.

As for your deleted pets and items, did you communicate with the support team regarding this so they can investigate? Unfortunately, on my side, I cannot make verifications or take decisions regarding sanctions or ban-related issues. I invite you to write a ticket to support on the subject of your lost items so they can assist you or provide an explanation.

Man if that's how things actually went down, I'm really sorry. That sucks! You responsibly reported the bug and got screwed from it :S yikes!!

Hey, at least they admitted it was a mistake and gave you 15 days of subs.

Not saying what happened was correct because it obviously wasn't, I hope you get your pets and stuff back soon as well.

Hey ANKAMA. You dont have anything to say about this?? Are you avoiding the responsibility? 
Your attitude vs your service and people using your service is horrible! So robotic and senseless. BOO! 
Im realy mad with you guys lately. i see all these bots, all these bugs which are there literary forever and you be like, that its players fault cause they dont report or something, and when they do report,  look what happens.. what is this? you think its ok and will let it pass? ofcourse you will smile
