Mind Your Spirits quest Tortured Spirit Bug

Hi,

After doing everything that the Olonaï spirit demanded, I've got the log message [18:46] You have lost 1 '[Voluntary Sacrifice]' but the "Tortured Spirit" still shows unchecked in the quest log. I've tried redoing the steps so the spirit appeared again but nothing happens. My Dictionayokai is rested in my inventory meaning I should be allowed to get the spirit.

Can it be investigated somehow?

I need to check what you mean by "doing everything the Olonai spirit demanded".

Did you equip the ring?
A what point did you get the notification?
Is the Dictionayokai present on the map?

if you haven't figured this out by now: those are two different spirits.
sacrificial spirit is Olnaï
Tortured spirit is Wanyudo

I am having trouble with the actual tortured spirit, because I've had 24 hours with the painful burn curse and the prayer paper, but the water bucket at the top of the altar isn't interactable for some reason... if it helps, I have previously interacted with the water bucket when I had a prayer paper and the curse, but I hadn't had the curse for 24 hours, so I went back to get another prayer paper and the curse again, but now that I've had it for 24 hours and the prayer paper, I still can't interact with the water bucket! Can someone help me?

Eventually I understood what I was doing wrong, even if you have prayed before it's fine, you just need to be at the position where the spirit spawns while having the curse for 24h or more.
