We have previously shared a little tutorial with you guys, on how you can attach an in-game screen capture to a forum post. This time, we will show you how to embed an image to your forum thread or message.
Hovering over the image will result in a little pop-up appearing with a URL. If you copy it and use it on your forum post, it will not work. You need to get thedirect URL to the image you want to add to your post. All you need to do is to right-click on the image and select the option “Copy image address”..gif)
If you want to double-check that you are indeed copying the correct URL, you can right-click on the image and select the option “Open image in new tab” instead. This will open a new browser window and you can simply copy the URL from the address bar.
An image direct URL will always end with the file format of the image, such as .jpg, .png, .gif, etc..gif)
And that's it!
Getting your image ready
- Upload your image to an image hosting website.

- Make sure you get the correct URL
