Unable to connect (cloudflare 1020)

After the last maintenance, I am unable to login using WiFi at home or work (can get to website, but blocked by cloudflare when I attempt to login).  I also get the http error on ankama launcher so I cannot connect at all (same cloudflare error).  From what I gather, it seems cloudflare is blocking a few blocks of IP's originating from the US.  I can login on hotspot, but as I multi client that doesn't seem viable.  Is anyone else having this error (specifically cloudflare blocking after latest update).  I've searched past posts and it seems this is a recurring problem without resolution.  Ankama closed the ticket.

I have put a ticket in, it was closed and there wasn't any resolution.  I was asked to try a different connection, I know it works on cellular hotspot, but I was requesting the tech team look into cloudflare blocking IP's (I'm not banned, but blocked by cloudflare from connecting using my ISP Assigned IP as of the last update)

I am having this exact same issue! The only way I'm currently responding to this thread is connecting to my cellular hotspot. Support also has not been able to resolve my issue, and it has been 3 days since I've been blocked from dofus.com and Ankama Launcher.

It's kind of frustrating considering I have four accounts that are subbed right now.

I am also having this issue. My ticket #3310701 was closed with no solution. I provided the information from Cloudflare stating the problem would need to be corrected by Ankama.

I'm having the same issue where I'm being blocked by cloudflare when using my ISP IP address. I can only access ankama through my mobile service/hot spot. I submitted a ticket and support claims it's my ISP, after some basic trouble shooting. I've contacted my ISP twice and they're not seeing any issues at all on their end. My ticket is #3310736 please help. I want to continue playing temporis.

As it seems this is an issue on Cloudflare's end and happening to multiple people, resolution can be had with techs from Ankama speaking to the techs at Cloudflare, and investigating the ACL's/reopening what was closed.  It really does seem as though something was overlooked at Cloudflare and it doesn't seem terribly complicated to fix.

In my response to my closed ticket, I included a link to Cloudflare Help desk that states exactly what needs to happen on Ankama's end to resolve the 1020 error we are all experiencing.

Ankama says there is nothing they can do.

That's how it feels. I have no idea how to go about escalating this issue to someone at Ankama that has access to the Cloudflare Dashboard to unblock all of our IPs.  That's all it would take according to Cloudflare. 

It's just so frustrating. We haven't done anything wrong. My husband and I have pretty much given up. I'll probably try and limp along on Temporis using my phone hotspot but there's no way I'll be able to do that with my multiple accounts on 2.0 or Retro.

There are also a few reports of the same problem on the Dofus Discord. A person went to their ISP and got a new modem/wifi and was still blocked.

When I was initially blocked on Dofus/Ankama, I was on my laptop connected to my workplace network. When I went home, I was surprised to find out I was also blocked on my PC connected on my home network. Although, both networks use the same ISP.

Is it possible for Cloudflare to block all IP addresses from a certain ISP?

On the Cloudflare support page it does mention groups of addresses can be blocked if their customer (Ankama) feels something "spammy" was happening, resulting in the 1020 error.

We have tried all the troubleshooting they suggest with no luck, including sending tickets to Ankama sad

Chiming in because this also affects me. I opened a ticket (3310730) and despite me explaining in multiple ways and attaching information, Ankama support declared the problem is not on their end, but rather on mine. This is obviously not the case, as evidenced by this thread (among other things).

Making this post on behalf of my friend who is experiencing the same issue. He made two tickets with screenshots and he got the same response that there is nothing Ankama can do and it must be on his end. It is crazy how little regard is shown to paying customers but hopefully, enough reports will get a team that can do something's attention.

I am hoping for the same. There are a bunch of people in Reddit with the same issue. Someone posted a thread from the French forum about the exact same thing in 2020. If you scroll to the end a few people posted that after 10+ days it just resolved itself.

Im having same issue just made a support ticket, I hope this gets fixed with maintenance. Please help us can’t play game or even visit ankama site through Ethernet, having to post here from my phone connection

I reopened my ticket again today and attached the directions from cloudflare to resolve the 1020 error. I also mentioned this forum post and how multiple people are having this issue. I hope to get a different response and actually get to be in the world of twelve again sad

I am also having this issue. I have yet to make a support ticket yet, as it seems to be a general problem. From what I can gather one of the ISPs blocked is cox communications, as it seems everyone from my English guild discord who can't get in was using that ISP as far as I know. Probably others too though.

This really helps confirm my previous reply and suspicions. I believe you are right regarding Cloudflare blocking IP addresses from Cox Communication.

Cox Communication practically has a monopoly as the ISP in the city I live in because it is the only ISP with decent Internet speeds here. I went and tested this by connecting to local business' wifi networks and confirming the ISP with speedtest.net. All wifi networks with Cox Communication IP addresses got blocked by Cloudflare.

My friend is having the same issue since last Tuesday (Ticket #3310649). There is a solution but they don't seem to want to look into this from their side - he's done everything they asked him to, but the 1020 error is clearly coming from their firewall and not something he is able to rectify on his side. He's exhausted all options short of changing ISP at this point. This is really disruptive to our community. People have paid for subscriptions and are locked out of the game through no fault of their own due to aggressive Cloudfare firewalls. Is there anyway this can be escalated to someone in support who is able to deal with this on a technical level?

Really sad to lose active, PAYING players who follow the TOS in the community because of this issue. I believe there was a similar problem in April 2020 with many many French players being locked out the game. Is there anyway to request an escalation???

Im still having this issues since last week any update? My apartment complex uses cox as the only provider. Im loosing subscription days with this! This needs to get fixed soon. They told me the same thing as other users above in the ticket.
