[Solved ] Comeback fail Ankama Launcher: downloading package 7z

Been trying to instal the Ankama Launcher (I figured this would show up eventually) to come back to the game after a long while, but the launcher wont download at all. After downloading the .exe file from the site I get this error trying to instal it:

"Unable to download application package from https://launcher.cdn.ankama.com/installers/production/AnkamaLauncher-Setup-x64.nsis.7z (status: SendRequest Error)

Please check your Internet connection and retry."

Funny thing, cause I'm watching an SCP Foundation readout and also POSTING HERE while it doesnt instal so... what gives?
