Impossible to select that character

So after years I am back to play the only mmorpg around with permadeath.

After creating a new character in thanatena I get the obscure message: impossible to select that character.

Generating a bug html report shows no error message regarding account or whatever. I am able to login to my oto mustam characters. I have no other characters. I paid the 10 euros to get the extra slot AND deleted a char from oto mustam.

Any clues? Support says 72 hours until an answer???

Hello, what is the error message you receive when trying to select the character in question?
And can you give me more details about the character (name, class, server) so I can have a look?

My wife created account today. She has same issue right now. She bought subscription and she can't "choose character". Any soultion?

Same exact thing for me. I even created and subbed a whole new account after subbing this one just to see if that was the issue.. Would really love an answer to this as well.

Seems to be fixed for me. Fixed for all? Never got a reply in the ticket system. Nothing here either.

2023 same problem
Ijust return to the game in years and cannot select one of my characters. The others are fine.

screen: customise character (color selection, etc)
click on play
yellow tittle: You cannot do that.
message: Impossible to select that character.

still have the problem, thats all the iformation i can bring

another thing that i find its that in the website page, the character doesnt appear.
