In order to improve the effectiveness of bug reports and their corrections, we now invite you to follow a simple process for reporting a bug found in the Retro Beta 1.35.
How to post a bug report
Step 1
Please make sure that your issue is not already covered in an existing topic. As for the rest of the forum, it is essential to avoid as much as possible the cumbersome duplication. To do this, make maximum use of the "Search" function on the forums.
Step 2
Determine the title of your topic according to the following nomenclature: [Beta 1.35 - NEW] Bug title. The status "NEW" will inform us that your issue is not yet dealt with and requires the intervention of a team member.
Please make sure to define a clear and relevant title for your topic, briefly announcing the type of problem encountered.
Step 3
Write your message correctly detailing your problem; the more complete you are in the first message, the easier it will be for us to identify it and work on fixing it.
Writing a bug report
Thread title: clear and concise, it should summarize the bug in a few words. If it is linked to a specific spell, indicate the name of the spell. If it is related to a class, indicate the name of the class, etc.
Character name: The character(s) related to the bug or used to reproduce the bug.
Server: Name of the server on which you encountered the bug.
Location: Place where the bug occurred (map, interface, dungeon, etc.).
Description of the bug:
What is the problem?
What is happening?
What is the expected result?
Reproducibility process: Explain the steps to follow to reproduce the bug.
Attach a screenshot or GIF/Video/Screenshot if possible. Be careful not to share confidential information!
Write your message, thoroughly explaining your problem; the more comprehensive your first message is, the easier it will be for us to identify the problem and start fixing it. However, avoid long-winded messages that may drown out the information more than anything else; keep it clear and concise.
It is therefore important that everyone follows these simple instructions so that we can continue to improve the version as efficiently as possible with you.
