GENERAL

The icons for class spells have been updated. We decided to standardize all spells to better distinguish their functions. There are still a few aspects to work on as far as penalty, multi-element, healing, health steal, and shield spells.
Here is the pattern used for existing spells:

Kolossium

  • Base:
    • Rating points have been removed. Now, leagues are indexed directly on the player's rating.
    • The league system has been added to the 1v1 queue.
    • A 2v2 queue has been added. Combats in this queue will take place on the same maps as the 3v3 queue combats.
    • It is now possible to register alone or in groups of 2 or 3 for the 3v3 queue and alone or in a group of 2 in the 2v2 queue.
    • A default rating has been added for players. It is set based on level and is given when the player has not yet finished all the ranking fights.
    • The number of remaining placement matches is now shown for each queue. It is now 5 in each queue.
    • The matchmaking system has been redone. New matchmaking rules have been added and others were deleted. The goal is for matchmaking to find the most balanced and best quality fights.
    • The Crystal league has been renamed Platinum.
    • The number of different leagues has been changed: Bronze I to V, Silver I to V, Gold I to V, Platinum I to V, Diamond I to V, and Legend.
    • To avoid frequent changes between two leagues when a player has an intermediary rating, a league bump up/down confirmation match has been added.
    • More information has been added to the Kolossium interface:
      • end-of-season date
      • link to the Kolossium achievement page
      • time remaining in a current sanction (if there is one)
      • the best league achieved this season
      • the rating on hovering over the progress bar
      • the progress bar shows the player's progress in the current league
      • the number of victories in the current season
    • The new Kolossium season will start with the update, i.e. on December 5. This season will be season 1. The data on previous seasons will be deleted.
  • Rewards:
    • Seasonal achievements related to the player's league have been added. These achievements are valid for one season and are reset at the end of the season. They unlock the ornament associated with the league and an exclusive title.
    • Ovatokens are now earned for victories in the Kolossium (1 ovatoken for a victory in 1v1, 2 in 2v2, and 3 in 3v3). These ovatokens can be used to unlock levels offering an exclusive ceremonial set (linked to the account and unlocked in non-chameleon and chameleon versions). The levels go from 3 to 300 ovatokens.
    • Three podiums have been added to the Kolossium hall. At the end of each season, the 3 players at the top of the 3 rankings (1v1, 2v2 and 3v3) will be placed on the podiums for the entire next season. During the first season, no players will be on the podiums.
    • A new pebble has been added to Glad Yator's shop: the Radiant Pebble. It is level 150 and used in recipes for level-150 to level-194 items. It costs 500 kolossokens.
    • The Sparkling Pebble is now a level-195 resource and is now used in recipes for level-195 to level-200 items.
    • Experience gains, kamas and kolossokens are now calculated based on the combat start rating. Kolossoken gains have been modified to gain more kolossokens from high-rating fights. Kolossoken gains in the 3v3 queue have also been increased.
  • Other:
    • A new drop-out voting system has been added to the Kolossium:
      • Starting from turn 3, it will be possible to call a vote amongst your teammates to quit the fight.
      • The vote must be unanimous to quit the fight.
      • Quitting is no longer possible without at least 1 vote being cast. If a player quits after a vote that did not pass, they will be excluded from the Kolossium for 30 minutes.
    • It is now possible to block the experience gain in the Kolossium. This option can be chosen in the Kolossium interface. It only effects Kolossium fights.
    • A new map has been added to the right of the Kolossium hall. Interactive elements have been added to this new map to teleport to all Kolossium combat maps.
    • The Kolossium combat maps have been entirely redone visually to add integrated tactical mode. In addition to these visual changes, half the maps have been modified to make them more balanced (size, obstacles, placement slots). New map environments have also been added.
    • Changes have been made to anti-gaming behavior detection calculations to reduce false positives.
    • The length of time to accept a Kolossium fight has been increased from 30 seconds to 1 minute.
    • A new potion to teleport to the Kolossium hall has been created.
    • The Goultard zone has been moved to the Kolossium basement.
    • The guide has been updated with information on the new Kolossium operations and quitting in the Kolossium.

  • Item Balancing:
    • Prytekts: The shield is now a shield as % of level, no longer based on health. Values have changed:
      • Prytekt: 20 / 15 / 10 (% of health) → 700 / 100 / 100 (% of level)
      • Shiny Prytekt: 15 / 15 / 15 (% of health) → 100 / 550 / 100 (% of level)
      • Iridescent Prytekt: 10 / 15 / 20 (% of health) → 100 / 100 / 400 (% of level)

    • Dorigami: The duration of the shield gained when the bearer kills an entity is now 2 turns.
    • Prygenerates: Effects last the whole turn instead of going away at the start of the bearer's turn.
    • Death-Defying: Effects are applied when combat starts and will refresh based on the bearer's health instead of at the start of their turns.
    • Minotot Sceptre:
      • AP cost: 4 → 3
    • Day'inda Knife:
      • AP cost: 4 → 3
    • Hail Sceptre:
      • Equipment conditions removed.

  • Seven new petsmounts have been added. Four can be bought for 80,000 kolossokens from the NPC Glad Yator, two can be bought for 30,000 nuggets from the NPC Teggun, and one can be bought with gold chocolate kamas from the NPC Blimpineck (Kwismas Island).
  • The drop rates for Pandawushu Artefacts have been harmonized.
  • "Kwismas Beer" has been added to the NPC Gobswallop's shop and can be used to take on the appearance of the sidekick Rint.
