It's "YOP" not "Eye-op" or "Ee-op"

Fairly regularly, we receive notes about the lack of the "an" article when referring to "a Iop." The correct pronunciation of "Iop" is "Yop," the first letter is pronounced with the "y" sound, and therefore does not use the "an" article.

Lest you think we're making this up, some other examples of English words that behave in this manner are "unicorn" and "ukelele," both whimsical words that sound terrible when used with "an."

If you don't believe me, this is even canon within the game:

Of course, you are free to pronounce the three little letters that make up the word "Iop" in just about any way you like, but for the purposes of internal consistency, "a Iop" is how we do. If you want to keep saying "Ee-op" or "Eye-op," we will still love you.
