Smells like a ban to me. Against the ToS obviously.

I'm paying upfront so the only one able to get scammed here is me.

Since accounts are owned by Ankama games the user of said account does not have the right to sell it.

Buying accounts is illegal, plain and simple. When you hit agree twice before you are able to play the game you are agreeing to not buy or sell accounts and if you are caught then you can be sued or arrested.

Directly from the ToS:

5.8 You acknowledge that the Account and all DOFUS content is the exclusive property of the Company, pursuant to Article 11 hereof. Therefore, you agree not to sell or barter any item from the Game, except in the context of in-game trade allowed for by the rules of the Game. You agree not to trade in items from the Company's works and not to promote such activities that infringe on the Company's rights. The Company will make every effort to prevent such sales. Only the Company and its accredited partners may commercialize such elements.

well>she>mentioned, screw it. She mentioned that you can get sued for buying or trading accounts.
which is ridiculous because a TOS or EULA does not hold any ground in the court.

like at all, signing 'I agree' on an E document is not going to hold any ground unless you've signed 60 of them in a row.
hence the most that can be done against it is to end the agreement and take back the accounts.

I am a guy, but that isn't important.

Also from the ToS:

8.5 In addition to the penalties described above, the Company will take appropriate sanctions, including civil prosecution and criminal proceedings against the offender. You may want to re-read the ToS. ToS.

I've edited this like six times to not come across as a total jerk.
so instead of trying to make this sound right i'll just agree that its not the option for me.

that being said is paying to get leeched legal? :3

Paying Kamas for leeching is not illegal. Paying real money for in game services or items is illegal.

How exactly did this go from you wanting to buy accounts to you paying to get leeched?

Morally questionable? Yes. Legally questionable? No. Though to be truthful, if you cant be willing to get your characters to at least level 50 on your own, dofus probably isnt for you anyways. The game systems make it extremely inefficient to be in a group, or fight, with anyone 3 times or more your level, as that introduces a drastic experience cut for your character.

If you want to risk it, you can give a leecher kamas to subscribe (thru ogrine) and then he will leech you... that is, if he is trustworthy, willing, active and knowledgeable enough to be a leecher.

But let me warn you, there are more scammer that decent player who will fit those qualities for a paid leecher.
