Honestly I don't quite understand what they bring to the table.
They seem like a mix between Fecas, Xelors and Iops.
Are they going to be offensive, tactical or defensive? I suspect they will be versed in all 4 elements but does that mean they have 2-3 spells of each element or will they be a truly omni class with spells like Rekop for Ecaflips (or Boomerang) that hits in all elements?
At this stage it's too early for me to say that I'll be playing one of them.
Of course you don't see what they bring to the table. No one does. Because we don't know their spells yet '-'
Calm down and wait for spell descriptions. We don't even know their roles. Plus, it seems they have mechanics based on elements...probably things similar to that fire fogger spell, where if you hit people with an element, the next attack will have some buff or debuff.
Well, for those who think that if they use all 4 elements and then they must have a spell like recop or boomerang, you are wrong. If you look more specifically in the basic description it is stated that: they have the ability to combine them in order to create various and powerful spell effects. this doesent mean that they already are combined. and from this we could asume they are gona be more tactical based characters. but that is what ankama is trying to make a more tactical game. In the last year they have changed xelors and sadidas to the more tactical based gameplay.

Which is what I said: triggered effects for hitting with this or that element after using this or that spell. It actually reminds me of a class suggestion I did in the portuguese forum a long time ago.

DOFUS 2.0 Collector Box came out in 2009, was last offered to the community by Izmar in 2011 and has since been out of stock. Rumours has it that you can still find sellers selling the Collector Box online from sites like ebay, amazon, etc. If one were to purchase a new and genuine copy of the Collector Box from one of these online vendors, would the codes inside still work I wonder? I recently purchased a Manga from AnkamaShop with a gift card for the old Dofus Incarnation Tormentator, and the card said it was out of date but the code was still accepted.
Nevertheless, I am looking forward to playing this new class, finally another character that looks more human since Feca .
If you get to buy it and the code doesn't work you can contact Ankama Support to replace it, of course you have to make sure the vendor hasn't already used it.
Ditto! It will also be my 10th character on my main account (with 12 character slot).

how do you be a Premium member
By using a premium code that you can get from buying a dofus collectors box sold on 2009. You can probably still buy from resale sites like e-bay and amazon but it will surely cost more than the original price of $100.
i will absolutely be making one. the concept art looks amazing as well! MY only question, will everyone be able to test them out in the beta? or will it be limited to premium accounts?

Beta is usually open to all subscribed account, not just the premium members.
To expand on what Gunnerwolfang said, the Beta server is opened to unsubscribed accounts as well when we are testing new updates, although population rules apply (subscribed accounts enter first), so everyone should have an opportunity to test the Huppermages in Beta.
''they have the ability to combine them in order to create various and powerful spell effects'' So i guess Omni Build would be pretty powerful with them? Well as a dutch playeri can't wait till i can make one!

0/10 won't play
Kinda reminds me of Shooters in the World Trigger anime when they say combine lol
