Mac players

By bladesxhelper#3258 - SUBSCRIBER - March 31, 2020, 23:59:31

I know you must have had one of the most stressful days in your history (at least that I'm aware of), and firstly I want to thank you for your tireless work. Unfortunetly the majority of players have not been able to, and are still unable to connect, or are still queueing.

Of course Mac players will not be able to connect until your fix the issue tomorrow. I am gutted that we will not be able to play Temporis today, but I understand the requirement for you to open it up to everyone that is able to play.

Whilst it is early days, are there any plans to compensate those players who have not been able to log today, with Mac users losing a whole day of subscription, will this be compensated in anyway?

King regards

Hi Jack, and thank you for your understanding.

We had to make a call, and we were gutted ourselves that we needed to open the servers and look into the problems encountered by Mac OS users after. As you can image, our goal is to create and develop an exciting world for our players to enjoy and watch them have fun... not to frustrate them with problems and issues. :/

With the number of challenges encountered since the DOFUS maintenance, we really tried to address Mac related issues. Research and tests were ongoing but it came a time where we had to make a call. And once we realized that despite the analysis (still ongoing as I write this message) there would be no solution to the problem tonight, we announced it.

Our focus right now is to solve the different connection problems (which includes the ones experienced by our Mac players) and bring some stability. We just fixed some stability problems on the Ankama Launcher so that is another problem off the list. ^^

I do understand your question and while we can all agree that time spent discussing compensation is time away from finding a solution, I can assure you that we all have this in the back of our minds.
This afternoon, the DOFUS producer did confirm that we will look into adequate compensation, but only once things are solved. Once a decision is made on the matter, we will announce on these forums and on Twitter.

Once again, please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused.
