Hi friends,

For some reason I’ve had a real itch to try the game again after about 10 years of not playing.
I have a lvl 185 Ecaflip that at the time I was playing pure int.
It was a bit meh at that point, but obviously a ton of stuff has changed to the class and the game itself.

Any recommendations on how to get back in to the swing of things?
At the minute I’m pretty lost.

• If I were you, I'd try first hand, playing a bit, and see for myself; while also reading a bit through the DevBlogs, to have a general idea of what has happened; cuz 10 years ... is a lot ... to resume in 2-3 phrases.

Is int/cha Eca viable?

• No clue, sadly, I haven't played my Eca in sometime; tho you might wnat to have a look at alternative spells, now things that seemed impossible years ago are a real thing: like fire or water iops. for example.

What are idols?

• Idols are some thinggiez that give extra dmg and/ or mp  t o mobs and/ or some special conditions for fight to avoid insta death, making fights harder, but giving extra xp and lot.

Is it still possible to be aggressed?

• To my (poor noobish pvp) knowldege, naaa; as in, you can be BOntarian and spend half day zaap sitting in Brakmar.

Do I need to multiclient?

• Only if you want to; to do it, you have to add the accounts in question to Launcher.
• They are even servers where people only monoaccount, while on others one can also multiaccoiunt; e.a. to his/ her taste, as they say.

To answer your questions:

Is int/cha Eca viable?

Yes, however going single element is a lot cheaper. Ankama reworked every class to have a working single element path for every element (every class can go str or agi or cha or int), although of course some work better as always.

What are idols?

Challenges set by players that increase XP/drops, if you use high score idols you can get almost identical XP as if you were wearing full wisdom set. (maybe 10-15% less).

Is it still possible to be aggressed?

Nope, Alignment was pretty much retired to be questing only, you can only get aggroed if you turn your wings on, however not many people do that. Conquest of zones was moved to another system called Alliances.

Do I need to multiclient?

Not really, however playing more than one account is very lucrative if you don't mind it. If you wanna play solo I suggest you find a good guild that will help you if you need something.

If you don't want to multi-client play on dracornis, that is what I am doing. Been playing for almost a year now.
