Tal Kasha Server Lag

Good evening,

It's been about a week where every day around midnight game time there is a huge increase in ping to 600ms+ on the server making it impossible to do any content. I'm from the United states, so it's normal for me to have about 130-200ms ping. Has anyone else noticed anything similar or is it just me? I am able to play other online games without difficulty and watch videos without any issues, so I don't think this is an internet related problem. Hopefully this can be looked into soon.

But lately I am doing event stuff (dungeons), so the awful lag I am experiencing after 1-2 hrs of playing 4 - 6 chars at a time, most of the time in full group with other players, might be due to the now "usual event dungeons lag".
As if Tal Kasha physical server/s (like allllllll the previous servers where I have been so far) can't handle more than a couple of fights in a dungeon room.
So, just wondering, are you guys still running on x86 old machines? tongue

Hello!

Can you tell me how long this lag lasts for? Do you also experience lags at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. (the other backup times)?

It is normal to experience lags around these times due to regularly scheduled server backups.

The lags usually lasts around 4-5 hours for me, and then all of a sudden like a switch the ping is back to normal on my end. It's very unusual as this never used to happen before. It's very different than the normal lag caused by backups which only delays you if you are in a fight very briefly.

Seems as if its a general connectivity issue in Dofus during this time no matter what server I try to play on. Very unusual scenario. Doesn't make much sense to me!

Seems like the high ping happens on other servers as well. Not sure what to make of this issue. I am confused what could be causing it to be honest.

That's good to know. Can you please give us more info on your connection? For example, your internet access provider, etc.

If possible, can you try and connect to another server on the times when you have lag on Tal Kasha to see if it's only connected to the server or if it's a generalized issue?
