[ENTRIES THREAD] Turn In your Copies!

Today, we invite you to celebrate the year of hard work you've just completed with a contest inspired by that famous class assignment! Let your imagination soar and recreate one of the many rings available in the game with the real-life materials of your choice!

There are just a few little rules you'll need to follow:

Only one entry per person.
Only entries from accounts in the English-speaking community will be accepted.
Forum messages with entries can be edited/modified until the contest ends. If the message is edited after the deadline, the entry will be disqualified.
All entries must comply with the DOFUS Terms of Use.
Entries will be judged on a number of criteria, including originality, faithfulness to the original, and final appearance.

Once your masterpiece is complete, you must post your entry in a single message in the forum, indicating:

Your character's name
The server you play on
The name of the ring

Three photos must be submitted:

Two in "WIP" (work in progress) format
One photo of your masterpiece in all its glory, with the DOFUS game and a window showing the ring in question in the background

All three of these photos are essential for your entry to be valid. However, you can also post more if the spirit moves you!

Note that any use of AI is strictly prohibited!

Behold, the Bearbaric Wedding Ring made with real ice and real honey!

The first steps I used paint+mod podge to get a realistic "drip" effect on the ring:

I actually painted the little bee guy inside, though he's obscured by the ice:

Then I used a hot knife to melt an even cube:

I tied it on with string and froze the whole thing to simulate the environment of Frigost:

For the finishing touch (just for fun), I coated it in real honey!

et voila!
