Hey! where is my mac version of the new Beta!

Sorry , I didn't see a topic about this . Oh well , I don't get it .. once finish downloading it just give me a file .exe with a blank icon ( Blank paper ) and when I try opening it , it says I need an application to open that ...

.EXE is the common filename extension for denoting an executable file (a program) in the OpenVMS, DOS, Microsoft Windows, ReactOS, and OS/2 operating systems.

This file will not run setup for dofus beta on a mac, thus leaving us trailing behind
We're trying to open a PC application file which can only be opened by a PC or a Mac running PC emulation software.

Hang on until Monday, we'll see if the developers post a Mac .zip.

Until then, if you can run Virtual PC or Parellels, you can open the .exe installer and get the files out. Then just take the Dofus.html file and use that the play the game.

Moxus - remember that you can still play the NON test/beta version (1.22) on your Mac like normal. And thanks again for the update Wish - I was wondering the same myself. . .

I installed on my Windows machine using the EXE file then copied the Dofus folder to my Mac.

Works fine.

Why the heck does Ankama have a "Windows" EXE version and "Mac / Linux" version anyway? They all use the same files ...

That would violate Ankama's software distribution rights.
