Dofus 2.0 Linux

By ScarletBlood January 12, 2010, 15:30:17

Ok, So. Any thing that has animation has random "blocks" apeare around what I assume are the edges of the maps and just do some odd/random stuffs as they cycle thru the frames.

Its like the alpha/mask are not working correctly (opinion xD)

Any ideas ?

I wouldn't advise the nouveau driver actually. It's ok for basic support but still has a long way to go. You're much better off nVidia's proprietary binary drivers.

If you could give some system specs, what distro you're using, some screenshots and stuff too, it might help us diagnose the problem.

I'm running Linux too and there are no problems with animations at all.

For me this problem only shows up with Xinerama (without composite).
Gentoo linux.

i'm using nouveau drivers on Ubuntu Lucid (10.4) 32bit. As far as Dofus goes, this is a lot better than the proprietary nvidia driver which would flicker and leave all kinds of artifacts on the screen. only downside is no acceleration on some stuff like 3D, compositing (compiz) and full screen video, but my rig doesn't really have a problem with that and i don't need useless window transition effects.

Are you using multi-screen with xinerama or do you have a composite X ?
