[FINALLY UPDATED] WEAPON TABLES
By XehanordHeartless#8093 - FORMER SUBSCRIBER - November 20, 2012, 22:04:20Comparing weapons objectively can be hard especially when critical hits come into play, so I decided to make these tables in order to make this task easier. The numbers inside the brackets are the average damages when the weapons are maged with an 80% potion. You can also find these tables at my talk page in the dofus wiki and I advise doing so because they just look better over there :p (Before the screenshot update is finished, it's also the only way but yea)

This needs a sticky.
I don't mean to nit pick, but Mush Mishish has a cha steal, not air.
Oops! I'm using the staff myself. Corrected, thanks a lot
Also I'm sorry about the size of the screenshots.
I thought about it but it may be misleading since you can't use all your ap with any weapon.
I really liked the time and effort you put in to do this.
edit. sorry i posted this before reading yours yesterday
There will still be room for strategic calculations with regard to weapons. For example it seems obvious that a 4 ap hammer won't be able to do as much damage as a 3 ap dagger that you can use twice for 6 ap total. This will actually allow you to calculate damage per AP as well as the max number of times you can use a weapon to figure out what the most effective fire weapon is for example:
Is it stormcloud staff for 5 AP? Or Mallow Marsh daggers for 3 AP? Etc...
Sadly the fact that all classes can use any weapon with no penalty and the fact that you can only use your weapon a set number of teams means that no more than ever these is going to be only one weapon of each element that is ideal. Before it made sense to say that one weapon was worth using because of your class, or maybe you had a 10 ap build so a 5 ap weapon worked, or you had a 12 ap build so a four ap weapon was best.
But now it doesn't matter what build or class you are. Sadly there is only going to be one weapon for each element which is best, and it will be easy to figure out what that weapon is.
This is getting a major overhaul in summer.
I managed to automatize the process of creating the tables using a few Python scripts.
The good thing is that updates won't be a problem any more and in request I can easily provide more fields like damage/ap. As you may have noticed, I also list weapons below lvl 100 since I don't have to do the process by hand anymore.
The bad thing is that the scripts fetch the data from the official encyclopedia and therefore a few items are not included since their stats are not listed in the official site.
You can find the updated version in my talk page, I will also upload screenshots when I find the time but for the time being, a complete updated version of the tables in my talk page is better than outdated tables and screenshots. If someone could help me with the screenshots, it would be much appreciated!
