Capture dragoturkey

Success in capturing a wild dragoturkey requires several things.

Before battle: make sure you have a capturing net equipped, make sure you do not have a dragoturkey already equipped
During battle: cast the mount taming spell and then finish the fight before it expires (I have heard of people managing to catch a turkey even after being unbewitched, so perhaps that at least isn't a detriment.)

Then, you just have to get lucky. The capturing net is the only thing that can catch dragoturkeys, and it only has a 10% success rate - really crappy. Try, try again.

There are only wild ginger, wild almond and wild golden dragoturkeys. They are all found in the same areas, though wild golden dragoturkeys are a much rarer spawn. The only way to acquire the other colors is by breeding.

Hi!

I learnt the dragoturkey captureing spell, I leveled it to level 3. I have nets equiped, spell on and when I kill the dragoturkey I dont get anythig. Im simly unlucky or I did sth wrong?

And one more thing. I know only the locations of Ginger and Almond. Where are the others?

how do you get the captureing spell and where can you get a net

You get the spell by completing the Koolich Dungeon and talking to Oshar Marif to exchange 50 Kaliptus Leafs and 50 Kaliptus Flowers for the spell.

You can get a net by buying it from Smakko in the breeder village at (-17,0)

I bought the taming mount spell scroll from player. I think it was from last x-mass event but I not sure.

is it somehow possible to not have the spell, just the net and still catch 1?

That was 2 years ago, might has well create another thread. But i'll answer anyways, No you need the spell for Catching the DT's. I might also add that the Spell gives you a 25% increase in Exp. for a mount when spell is used while in battle, just incase someone would like to know. now it will be locked

It works similarly to Soul Capture, you have to cast the spell and before the effect wears off kill it.

Also, it doesn't matter how old the thread is, if the post is relevant it's ok to post rather than makin a new thread and get crowded.
