Usage of Extra Space

By guestplayer#1040 - SUBSCRIBER - July 15, 2011, 00:53:12
So when I play Dofus I see a lot of extra black space on the sides.
So why don't we utilize this space for extra applications?
Maybe you can make a pull out map or inventory that can be dragged onto the black areas of the screen.
This might be hard to do but will definitely be a more efficient use of space.

Maybe you can make it like a customizable palette.
Like the screen is just a big plate and you can drag the apps around the dofus window any way you like.

Well, let me know what you think! smile

not everyone plays fullscreen. its also currently a programming impossibility. dofus graphics are programmed into a fixed aspect ratio that cannot be changed, and because of that, that black space you see? its dead space. nothing can be put there unless the client as a whole is reprogrammed into an entirely different aspect ratio.

I always thought the idea of being able to move the toolbars into those spaces would be cool. I really don't like even remotely cluttered interfaces tongue
