3 Hero system
By yauseapodo#7408 - FORMER SUBSCRIBER - May 06, 2020, 08:19:12I am a solo player and it's hard doing so when you need to manage multiple tabs, which is why I found wakfu so awesome, they had the sidekick and hero system where you could add heroes instead of sidekicks, this should be implemented into dofus as a paid feautre.

And makee it 4 hero system.
Wakfu community is almost dead, therefore the hero system offers players a possibility to keep playing (which I did for some long time).
So, to make it clear. I respect your wish to play solo, but changing the game's second purpose of playing with other people (the first one is to have fun while maintaining the second one) can have a huge bad impact on the community.
For two, people who play with multiple accounts still play with others. They utilize the markets and therefore interact with the people who also use the markets. They influence the state of the game (area bonuses, and so on). And they typically join guilds and interact with others that way. Many of them help others, and many of them have to play with others for content that requires more than four people (many don't run 8 accounts).
I think that either a) they should ban multiaccounting entirely or b) support it as part of the game through a hero system. They aren't going to ban it - that would be very detrimental for the game (keep in mind there's a reason people want to do it, too), and so I think supporting it properly is the only logical move.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Massively_multiplayer_online_game
"A massively multiplayer online game (MMOG, or more commonly, MMO) is an online game with large numbers of players, often hundreds or thousands, on the same server. MMOs usually feature a huge, persistent open world, although some games differ. These games can be found for most network-capable platforms, including the personal computer, video game console, or smartphones and other mobile devices.MMOs can enable players to cooperate and compete with each other on a large scale, and sometimes to interact meaningfully with people around the world. They include a variety of gameplay types, representing many video game genres."
Where does it say that players MUST do content with others in an MMO???
MMO only means that the game enables many players to play the same game, the same instance universe. Interaction is optional. Have you watched Sword art online anime? The MC in that game anime is generally a soloist character in a MMO game. That means that solo playing is generally an acceptable way of playing in a MMO.
Just because you prefer playing with others, you are demonizing the soloist way of playing, preferred by soloist players, making soloist look like abnormal gamer..
Anyway......
Dofus Hero System have been a highly requested content for as long as I can remember. I myself have created multiple threads, on hero system and other hero sub-system, in the past.
The main problem is the client restriction. The current adobe technology/platform can barely optimize the 1 character system (with sidekick). The devs cannot create a hero system with the outdated client.
The other problem would be monetization. In Wakfu, the hero system is a revenue generating system. In dofus, the main revenue (aside from gambling lootbox) is subscription from multiple account. A hero system would decrease the already meager revenue. I previously made a suggestion that can circumvent this dilemma, by allowing hero to come from another subscribed account or pay extra for hero slot. This way, current multi-accounters can use the hero system at no extra cost.
In my previous suggestions, I also suggested alternative hero system format that utilize characters that are not regular classes, similar but not exactly like the sidekick system.
Example
1. Eidolons: Powerful demigods, but are limited in use.... some only last for a few turn or can only execute a few skills before going back to the summon world.
2. Ancient Weapons: Powerful ancient relics (robotic golems) that consumes magical fuel/ammunition to function. Very powerful but you will need to "sell an arm and a leg" to keep them in operation.
3. Battle pets/mounts: sacrifice your pet slot for a somewhat useful fighting member.
4. Anti-hero: A mysterious system that are a bit more complicated than the sidekick system.
Hero Add-on Subsystem
1. Proposition Quest: A way to send heroes, in your account that you are not actively using, to special quest. Similar to the Bar proposition quest system in Final Fantasy Tactics.
2. Hero Headquarter Havenbag: Allow various team customization/improvement to your team. A base building system similar to Clash of Clans.
3. Megazord System: Your team can merge into one powerful character just like the Power Rangers, (additionally, I also made a previous suggestion on a sentai powersuit system).
So much fun possibility, unfortunately, the client can't handle a hero system.
You see, for solo playstyle your suggestions look way better. They seem to balance the solo content and party content.
Well, you convinced me that playing with others is optional. Still, I think that dungeons, world bosses and raids (I'm talking about MMORPGs in general) should be focused on grouping with other. It's just my opinion, of course.
Anyway, I hope I made myself clear and that I don't intend to offend or disrespect anyone.
