Aquatic Parasite

In an environment dominated by blues and greens, this little parasite absorbs these two colours, causing its host to turn a decidedly more red tint. Unfortunately, this drastically reduces their lifespan, as it renders their hosts much more visible, and therefore much more vulnerable.
