............ due to poor sales of expensive, yet, "discounted" and "on offer/ sale" of "alleged mystery boxes for random item XXX" (which actually only had 0.01% epic chance o getting item XXX, and 99.99% chance of getting cheap random crap), headquarters have decided to reduce costs to be able to survive as company ... and they're starting with cuts to dev/ maint/ bugs (allegedly) fixers staff for Dofus; so, for starters, staff will be cut in half; hence, the need to morph classes 2 by 2 into mixed breeds, since they will be less people able/ available to deal with it all ...

When I made a class switching suggestion almost 8 years ago, I did pair enutrof with the eliatrope (before they even introduce eliotrope). My reasoning ofcourse is that both class god is connected to dragon (enutrof is a dragon and eliatrope have a dragon twin). It was too farfetch for forumers back then, some even telling me off because eliatrope is not in the dofus era.

They all died out thousands of years before Dofus, and don't reappear in great numbers until ten years after Wakfu, with Yugo being the first one. They also do not worship any known god, if they worship one at all. They are associated with dragons (specifically, they are born from dragon eggs), and the god Enutrof likes to take the form of a dragon, but that doesn't mean Eliatropes worship Enutrof. Osamodas, in fact, is closer to dragons, having three actual dragons as his "lieutenants", but they don't worship him, either.
Islands of Wakfu and the Wakfu anime make it clear that Eliatropes are not part of the World of the Twelve at all. They're literally aliens, and the World of the Twelve is not their homeworld.
So I don't think they're going to shatter the whole game's lore just to include your classes.
