On the agenda this week, a look back at the eventful launch of Temporis, roleplaying in Temporis, and lastly, an hourlong Q&A, summarized here:

-----

Do you know about the bug with Rogues' bomb explosions on the classic servers?

Yep, the team is making progress on this. The bug is being fixed and we hope to provide a bug fix this week. We'll be sure to let you know when the issue is resolved.

Will the experience potion be usable on Jahash?

Yes, you'll be able to use the 100% experience potion from the end of Temporis on Jahash.

What's happening with the XP scrolls that appeared when Temporis launched?

Unfortunately, these scrolls should not have been able to drop on classic servers. The scrolls have been disabled and are no longer usable.

Tempokens in Temporis?

When we look at the total number of tempokens you can get and the combined total of tempokens available from achievements, we don't get the same number. Is that the way it's supposed to be?
It is, and that's because surprises are planned for the entire Temporis adventure! To learn more about these surprises, catch our livestream next week!

The active spell for Foggernauts is disabled. Is that normal?

The Foggernaut turret was being misused, so a change was applied. The spell is back and modified with the Tuesday update. More details in the changelog.

What happened to the Reclusion glyph?

We had to rebalance this glyph because it was way overpowered. This wasn't a loophole, just a balancing issue. Its new balanced version is available with the latest Tuesday update. Since this glyph was not considered an exploit, players who used it won't be penalized.

My character lost all their spells after migrating to a different Temporis server!

We're aware of this issue and are in the process of fixing it. We'll let you know once everything is fixed. EDIT: the issue was fixed during that day and spells were sent yesterday (April 08) to the affected players.

One of my Huppermage's spells prevents them from spending MP in the Kolossium on a classic server. Is this normal?

We're aware of this issue and are in the process of fixing it. We'll let you know once everything is fixed.

Why haven't you added master shields to Jahash?

Jahash was a solution to regulate the population, not to trigger a rush event or anything like that. Implementing master shields would have promoted a rush to some extent, which we didn't want to happen a week from Temporis going live.

Will experience potions be usable on the heroic server?

No, experience potions won't be usable on the heroic server.

Why can we only use 10 spells in Temporis? Will this number of spells increase?

In limiting you to 10 spells, we want you to have to make choices when building your pool of spells. Allowing for more spells would draw out combat and reduce the importance of the strategic choices you have to make, which we don't want.

I had issues with the DOFUS store the day Temporis launched. When will this be resolved?

If you had problems making purchases on the day Temporis launched and you believe these problems are taking too long to be resolved, you will need to submit a Support ticket.

Why is "weapon skill" considered a spell in the spell deck?

We decided that any spells that can be used in combat or for combat should be in the spell deck. The only spells not included in the spell deck are somewhat unique ones with no connection to combat, such as "soul capture".

Will we recover our Coulive items (and other purchased items) on the classic servers after Temporis?

You will recover any purchased items on your account at the end of Temporis, and you'll be able to assign them to another character. Anything you rent will not be recovered after Temporis ends. (Note: You can find an overview of the items, which will be re-credited and which won't, here)

Will it be possible to change your class in Temporis later on?

No, we don't want this during the Temporis event, so it won't be possible. However, you do have the option to level several characters.

Mounts in paddocks can't be renamed anymore. Is this bug being fixed?

Yes, the bug is being fixed. We'd like this to be corrected as soon as possible.

Are you planning to add another scrollmage workshop?

Currently, the Almanax is the only scrollmage workshop, and there are no plans to add another one.

How long does it take for wanted notices to respawn in Temporis?

The respawn time for wanted notices has not been reduced; it's still 10 hours.

How long will Temporis last?

Temporis: Rise of the Scrollsayers will last for 2 months.

Can the range of bombs be modified in Temporis?

This is not planned for the time being. It's feasible, but we don't think it would be completely balanced at this point. But it's absolutely feasible if the situation calls for it.

Why did you push back the DOFUS Retro merger? And why don't you open public paddocks?

As things are complicated at the moment, we regretfully decided to push this back to avoid a repeat of what happened when Temporis went live.

For the second question, public paddocks can't be opened because the Dragoturkey certificates contain a massive amount of data, which will be unmanageable when the servers merge. We can't let players do this breeding when everything will be deleted after the merge.

Regarding Otomai's quest, which allows you to reset characteristics and requires a valid breeding certificate, we're working on a bug fix to make it possible to complete this quest without having breeding enabled.

Are you planning to increase the number of summons in Temporis?

No, we're not planning to do this. We think the system is sound as is. Since everyone playing in Temporis can have any spell, if we add more summons, knowing that these are already quite popular, they will become overpowered.

The spell "Humiliation" is still disabled. Is this normal?

The spell was disabled yesterday (meaning last Monday) after it was discovered to be in conflict with the Masqueraider passive. The team is working to fix this, and we'll let you know as soon as it's corrected. (You'll find here the list of the actually disabled spells on Temporis here)

Do you have more details about PvP tournaments in Temporis?

More details will be provided starting Friday. Particularly about the Tournament of the Scrollsayers, but also the KTA tournament in Temporis.

Will there ever be a permanent Temporis server?

Temporis is a temporary server, a fun server intended for a limited period, which at the same time allows us to try out new mechanics and systems. For the time being, there are no plans to create a permanent server with the current model.

Why don't you provide a reroll potion to characters that have been nerfed in Temporis?

As we've said from the beginning, we may rebalance things over time. If you switch to another class and we modify that one later on, you'll have to reroll again and again, which is not an option. The goal with this Temporis is also that you become attached to this character, and therefore experience the adventure with this character without changing them through a reroll or class change. This is a two-month process, not a long-term balancing process.

Can wave dungeon achievements still be completed and for how much longer?

Yes, these can still be completed. This wave mechanic is meant to facilitate the progression of players who join Temporis later on. That is, if you start playing in week 2, you'll be able to complete a dungeon and will then get the wave 1 achievement, and after redoing this dungeon, you'll immediately get the wave 2 achievement. If you start in week 8, you can do the dungeon and get the achievements for wave 1, 2, and 3 if you come in later. It allows you to catch up a bit more quickly if you start playing when Temporis is underway.

Is experience doubled when you roll a second character in Temporis?

No, there is no experience modifier for the other characters you may level in Temporis.
