After two years of involuntary confinement, Ankama can once again attend Japan Expo! And why not take advantage of this joyous occasion to pay us a little visit dressed as your favorite character? Give it your best shot because your cosplay could earn you some nice rewards…
Make an impression at Japan Expo!
The event for fans of Japanese pop culture is returning to Paris Nord Villepinte from Thursday, July 14, to Sunday, July 17!
So, get out your sewing machines, bobbins, scissors, needles and iron-on patches (or your grandma if you're the lazy type)! Create the most breathtaking outfit, work on your most striking pose, and show off your best side: The specially planned ANK'osplay contest gives you the chance to win a nice little prize package (and we're not talking about you).
Kerub, Oropo, Seth, a beefcake Iop, a vengeful Sacrieur, Angelino, or even Bristle: Cosplay as a legendary hero from any of Ankama's universes! The possibilities are endless…
Once you've made your choice and created your costume, head to Ankama's booth from Thursday, July 14, to Sunday, July 17, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., to have your photo taken individually by one of our community managers. The community manager will immortalize your visit with a full-length photo and other shots to highlight the best details of your costume. After that, you will be asked for just one more thing: to come up with a few choice words – which can be humorous, dramatic or grandiose – in connection with your cosplay. Basically, it's the cherry on top!
You could be one of the lucky ones to be selected by our teams to take part in our ANK'osplay contest. From Monday, August 1, to Sunday, August 14, the names of those with the costumes that grabbed our attention will be revealed in a post shared on our websites. Next, these nominees will be voted on by all our communities.
Finally, the names of the three participants that were voted on to the winning podium will be shared in a comment on the original post. The prizes are as follows:
1st place:

With this form you can provide some personal details, the name of the character you want to cosplay, the date you want to visit the booth, and the little caption you want to attach to your photo.
Do you want to come with someone else or a group and capture the moment together? No problem! We will also take group photos and post it to our social media channels, but they won't be part of the contest.
A contest within a contest…
Once public voting has closed, a second contest will keep the fun going… and produce new winners! Five voters from all those who had a keen eye for choosing the 3 winning cosplays, regardless of the podium order, will be picked out of a hat. The five winners will receive the two Japan Expo items, namely the Cire Momore Armour Shield (DOFUS) and the Wax Croum pet skin (WAKFU).
