The development of Dofus-Arena continues and to prepare its future release, we are glad to announce to you that the Beta Version 8 is now available. This version contains quite a few novelties (Experience and levels for characters, team leaders, charge spells and so on) that you’ll be able to discover in detail on the Dofus-Arena website. A new version of the Dofus client (1.13.1) is available on download here.This update is optional, you may play Dofus without it.Here's the list of changes brung by this update :

• The pointing out of a square now activates a green message displaying the name of the player and the pointed square .
  
• It is now possible to resize the floating bar by double-clicking it.
  
• pressing: "maj + 8" now enables/disables the floating bar.
  
• Pointing at a square in fight now shows the square to all allies, even if the character is invisible.
  
• Graphical problems with Flash 7 fixed (though graphics accelerations with Flash 8 are still working).
  
• connexion problems fixed (long download of the language file, for example).
  
• Research scrolls are now displayed normally in the inventory.
  
• Iops' hair doesn't pass through hats anymore.
  
• the "pointing" attitude doesn't change Sadidas size anymore.
  
• Animation problems with Crâs have been fixed.
  
• Bambouto and Holy Bambouto animations have been modified.
  
• NPC illustrations in front of dungeons have been changed.

This version includes modifications done in the 1.13 patch , it is thus not necessary to download the patch once the 1.13.1 version in installed.The Ankama Studio Team wishes to apologize for the troubles our players may have encountered while using the previous version of Dofus.

The new client version (1.13) is available for download in the "Download" section of the site.

A new update will be available on Tuesday 14 March. It will bring in improvements essentially based on the suggestions and feedbacks from the community.

Yesterday, on March 1, DOFUS won two prizes at the Flash Forward 2006, in Seattle. The first prize awarded by a professional jury, rewards the Best Game in Flash format and the second one awarded by the public, rewards the Best Creation Flash all categories taken into account...
