Devblog

In this devblog, you can see everything that's included in Update 1.35 for DOFUS Retro.
After a focus on bug fixes in update 2.59, we're back with more traditional content for update 2.60: the continuation of the Pandala and Eliocalypse storylines, a new area, and new equipment. Get ready to take on hordes of opponents who are just itching for a fight!

Dear adventurers of the World of Twelve, today I take my tofu-feather pen in hand to talk to you a bit about the future of DOFUS Retro. Last August, we presented the content of version 1.33 in a livestream that included a very special announcement: We raised the possibility of a potential update that would provide you with a way to obtain the last two Primordial Dofus in-game. Once this exciting livestream was over, we checked in with you to see what you thought of the idea. A huge majority of you were in favor of this plan, and so today we're finally presenting a few more details about update 1.35.

Have a seat, grab a nice cup of coffee or tea, and let's get started!

In early February, we reached out to get your various ideas about modernizing the Blacksmith Dungeon, so let's revisit the topic!
The main purpose of the changes to the Well of Infinite Dreams is to balance combat. This obviously involves balancing combat modifiers, but it also involves incompatibilities and assigned scores.
After an early announcement for the 2.58 update, this new feature to guide you in your progress will see the light of day on the 2.59 beta server.
As you may know, Update 2.59 is mostly dedicated to debugging, but that won't stop us from doing some balancing!
In this devblog, you'll find all the content about the DOFUS Retro - 1.34update

Several improvements have been made to help players with their progress in the game. Some new interfaces have been added, and others have gotten a makeover.
Below we provide a breakdown for you.

Between the Cania Bandits quest, improvements to smithmagic access, and comprehensive balancing for several classes and items, Update 2.58 will be packed full of changes!

The previous update featured a complete overhaul of Pandala, both in its graphics and in its content, which was massively enriched. But a small area off the coast remained untouched, like an unfinished Araknawa web. You've already had a glimpse of what's awaiting you there: a swampy cemetery that makes a perfect final resting place. But now it looks like its inhabitants may be done resting… As promised, we're proud to present the new Nolifis Island – an update that's simply to die for!

This update was also an opportunity to make a few improvements to the interfaces and general user-friendliness of the game.

For a while now, the Retro team has been preparing a set of graphical improvements to enhance the clarity of in-game items. Check out what [DUSK] has to say about it.

Pandala is an old zone in DOFUS that hasn't changed much since it was created. In the last few years, many of you have expressed interest in seeing the island brought up to date, and this project was important to us too. As an iconic zone in DOFUS, Pandala deserved more than just a graphical overhaul. And so, with enthusiasm and great care, we completely revamped it.

An all-new system has been implemented to fight detrimental in-game practices. Many of you have asked about this subject. Here is some information to answer your questions.

As mentioned a few weeks ago, 1.31 is here with its dose of bug fixes and additions to improve your in-game comfort!
Up until now, all shop items have been on just one page, which you can easily view by scrolling. But now browsing is faster, so you can see items from one page to another. The items appear larger now, and when you hover over an item, the details are displayed.
In order to improve performance and your in-game comfort, a new update, version 1.30.9, is being rolled out to correct several recurring problems. But we're not stopping there! Our work continues with the upcoming release of a new update in a few weeks' time!
As part of the DOFUS music revamp, Pitch and Guillaume Pladys explain the how and why of it all in detail! Sometimes words aren't enough, so our sound friends have also slipped two new numbers in with this revamp.
You can now see your friends from Ankama Launcher on DOFUS's "social" interface. So, now you can interact with them and see their activity.
To celebrate its first anniversary, the well of infinite dreams is treating itself to a little restructuring session, along with a nice reward bath. Today, I'd like to invite you to discover the improvements planned for this feature in the year-end update. Hold on tight, we're beginning our descent into the depths of the well.
We talked to you about it yesterday in our first KrosmoNote – the next expansion, "The Four Horsemen of the Eliocalypse", will be available on the beta server soon!

For a few months now, the Marketplace has been accessible from two different interfaces: the old way (classic mode) and the new way (advanced mode). We're clearly not going to keep both versions, so we've made some improvements to the more recent one so as to help the more reluctant of you take the leap!

In the latest update, we informed you that we're gradually continuing to work on class improvements. So you can get ready for the upcoming developments, we're giving you a full description of the changes, which you can check out in the BETA from Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

We have published this Devblog some time ago and meanwhile content has been changed. To keep up with the changes, we replaced the outdated visuals and updated the information in the text, marked in red and italics for your convenience.

Some of you regularly use the KE interface to get kamas and Ogrines. This allows you to buy subscriptions in the game and items or services in the shop using ogrines. Others prefer to get kamas so they can buy items right in the game (Marketplace, etc.). There's enough to make anyone happy.
