Devblog

Up until now, all shop items have been on just one page, which you can easily view by scrolling. But now browsing is faster, so you can see items from one page to another. The items appear larger now, and when you hover over an item, the details are displayed.
In order to improve performance and your in-game comfort, a new update, version 1.30.9, is being rolled out to correct several recurring problems. But we're not stopping there! Our work continues with the upcoming release of a new update in a few weeks' time!
As part of the DOFUS music revamp, Pitch and Guillaume Pladys explain the how and why of it all in detail! Sometimes words aren't enough, so our sound friends have also slipped two new numbers in with this revamp.
You can now see your friends from Ankama Launcher on DOFUS's "social" interface. So, now you can interact with them and see their activity.
To celebrate its first anniversary, the well of infinite dreams is treating itself to a little restructuring session, along with a nice reward bath. Today, I'd like to invite you to discover the improvements planned for this feature in the year-end update. Hold on tight, we're beginning our descent into the depths of the well.
We talked to you about it yesterday in our first KrosmoNote – the next expansion, "The Four Horsemen of the Eliocalypse", will be available on the beta server soon!

For a few months now, the Marketplace has been accessible from two different interfaces: the old way (classic mode) and the new way (advanced mode). We're clearly not going to keep both versions, so we've made some improvements to the more recent one so as to help the more reluctant of you take the leap!

In the latest update, we informed you that we're gradually continuing to work on class improvements. So you can get ready for the upcoming developments, we're giving you a full description of the changes, which you can check out in the BETA from Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

Edited on 09/21/2020:
We have published this Devblog some time ago and meanwhile content has been changed. To keep up with the changes, we replaced the outdated visuals and updated the information in the text, marked in red and italics for your convenience.

Some of you regularly use the KE interface to get kamas and Ogrines. This allows you to buy subscriptions in the game and items or services in the shop using ogrines. Others prefer to get kamas so they can buy items right in the game (Marketplace, etc.). There's enough to make anyone happy.

With the last update, work began in response to broad and worrying feedback regarding game stability and performance at the start of the year. We have continued to make progress, and here are the main improvements that will be available in update 2.52.

For this update centered around the Vulbis Dofus, two areas are in the spotlight: Crocuzko Island and the Dreggon Peninsula. Although the Vulbis quest will take you there, they're entirely separate areas with new monsters, equipment, and dungeons awaiting you!

The Kolossium is starting its 4th season, and there are some changes in store for the scoring system. Don't wait: read all about them right now!

"Travelers using the Zaap network have been falling victim to strange incidents. After investigation, it turns out they were experiencing temporal anomalies! They're invisible because they're located at the edges of reality… but their effects are indeed visible. Their presence is disturbing the creatures of the World of Twelve…

Infinite Dreams Devblog - November 09, 2018 - [Korri]

"So that the dream may dream itself, so that its thirst may be quenched when the fountain has ceased to flow, I created the Well of Infinite Dreams. A well where the material world and dream world intermingle, where dreamers face their own hopes and fears… An inexhaustible source of stories, fables, and legends that will be sung or whispered until the end of time."

For the 2.48 update, we will introduce the new Kolossium system: leagues.
Revamping Pets Devblog - August 09, 2018 - [Briss]

The pet system is probably one of the oldest still in use, and although it has been modified several times over the years, it's no longer suitable and now needs to be completely overhauled. This will include how pets work (feeding, evolution rate, etc.) as well as their bonuses. To make this devblog simpler to read, we'll primarily be discussing pets, but everything explained here applies to petsmounts as well.

For the next update, we plan to make improvements to all classes in the game. Our goal is to cycle through previous balancing patches in order to provide more variety in choosing spells and creating builds for each class.

Following the grouping of the marketplaces, we redesigned their interface for your in-game comfort. Discover below the changes we concocted…

They're short, ill tempered, bearded and aren't afraid of anything. They're the Stubbyobs. These perennially ill-humored warriors are coming to to the World of Twelve. Do you think everything that's small is cute? You're in for a surprise! But first, check out the exclusive graphic research that has given life to these eternally unsatisfied creatures...

The Stubbyobs Devblog - Game Design - May 29, 2018 - [Briss]

Even if you think you've explored every nook and cranny of Frigost, you just might have missed a nation that's been very discreet up until now: the Stubbyobs, represented in this part of the world by the Freezammer clan.

With Update 2.46, we plan on introducing several modifications to make it easier to obtain equipment (hats, boots, etc.).
As we mentioned in the microblog on the subject, Astrub, the City of Mercenaries, is going to be renovated from top to bottom! Get a peek behind the scenes of this project of epic proportions!
The area in which monsters attack has been gradually reduced over the years (and is now down to a single cell around each monster), but the monster attack mechanic has not changed since the game first came out. Update 2.45 will introduce a new system for managing monster aggression which we hope will be less frustrating and easier to understand.
