Changelog 2.62

New Zone: The Destroyers' Nightmare

See this devblog for more information!

The new Nightmare zone, home to the fearsome family of Destroyers and the "Eternal Conflict" dungeon keeper, is for level-200 players.
It can be accessed from the Destroyers' Port (Atoll of the Possessed). Go see the Pandamonium Guardian (when you get off the boat) to start the ritual that will give you access to the nightmare.

New equipment has been added, and players will be rewarded with a new Dofus if they complete a series of quests that concludes the Eliocalypse.

Bonta and Brakmar Revamp

The cities of Bonta and Brakmar, as well as their sewers, have been completely revamped. See this devblog for more information!

  • Players' houses and the contents of chests have been put back in the new cities, so if you had possessions, you have nothing special to do.
  • Paddocks have been repositioned in a new building, the Paddock Tower. The list of paddocks in the guild interface will tell you which story of the tower your paddocks are on. Please note that since the paddocks' layout has changed, breeding items will not retain their positions within the paddock.
  • Sewers and related dungeons have been updated.
    • Rats' equipment, its bonuses and recipes have been updated. If you have an old item of equipment from these sets, however, it will retain its old stats (which will therefore be displayed as exotic effects).
    • Recipes for the Brakmar rat and Bonta rat dungeon keys have changed.
    • The "Rats" achievement has changed and two new achievements specific to the Bonta and Brakmar rats have been created.
    • Some old rat resources are now obsolete. Double-click them to get new resources instead.
  • The cities' exploration achievements have been updated with the new zones.
  • It is now possible to play Gobbowl in the Bonta and Brakmar arenas.

New Guild Recruitment System and Directory Revamp

See this devblog for more information!

  • A new system has been set up that lets you present your guild and set recruitment criteria.
  • Information can be found in the directory, which has been improved for the occasion.
  • The directory lets characters who don't have a guild apply directly to guilds that are recruiting.
  • When a player doesn't have a guild, the guild interface automatically opens with the guild directory.

We took the opportunity to add some improvements to the interface:

  • The guild directory now shows the date the last character in a guild logged in.
  • Guild invite notifications have been revamped to be clearer.
  • Texts to leave or exclude from a guild have changed to be more understandable.
  • When a character joins or leaves a guild, messages are displayed in the chat interface to guild members.
  • The progress guide has been updated with new recruitment features.

Improvements to Cosmetic Items

  • A new "Cosmetics" tab is available in the inventory and contains:
    • ceremonial items
    • living items
    • costumes
    • mount harnesses
  • All these can now be sold in a new dedicated marketplace, the cosmetics marketplace, available in Bonta and Brakmar.
  • Ceremonial items are now divided into subcategories:
    • ceremonial weapons
    • ceremonial shields
    • ceremonial capes
    • ceremonial hats
    • ceremonial pets
    • ceremonial petsmounts
    • miscellaneous ceremonial items (contains rings, amulets, belts that grant titles, emotes, and trails)

Miscellaneous / Bug Fixes

Items:

  • "Shushumi" weapons are now ceremonial items.
  • Disabled old obsolete items: Some items that became obsolete after previous updates could still be found, which was to give you time to sell them to an NPC, recycle them, or transform them into or exchange them for new resources if such a system had been set up. For a number of these items, we think the time allotted for these actions is sufficient, so we are disabling these items. If you have them in your inventory or a bank/chest, they will disappear after the update. These items are:
    • All ethereal weapons
    • All old Shushumi system soul fragments
    • All corruption runes
    • Expired, ground, and preserved meat
    • Gutted fish and fish juice
    • Concoctions
    • Flour
    • Old planks that are no longer used in crafting
  • The Yugo Fatal Blow scroll now has the right icon.
  • Sram now keep their skeletal bodies when equipping the guild costume.
  • The level of the guildalogem and the alliagem (and therefore the associated recipes) is now 50.
  • The recipe for the perceptor potion has changed to ask for "Rat Skins" instead of "Rat Fangs".
  • Some ceremonial items' tooltips displayed the compatibility effect row or the link duration row in bold; this has been fixed.

Quests and Achievements:

  • A new achievement has been added for completing 1,500 quests. It grants an exclusive emote.
  • The Goblins achievement now gives 10 walnuts instead of dark rose leaves.
  • Apprenticeship: Guardian of Knowledge: During the fight against the Claminor, sometimes the Invulnerable state didn't deactivate properly; this has been fixed.
  • By This Oath the World Is Written: When the "Put an end to the mildew's corruption" objective is in progress, clicking the statue removes and then recovers the blessing of Silvosse's Hammer.
  • It is no longer possible to obtain "Gender Equality" quest items from the Tanuki archmonsters without the quest being in progress. However, some quest items have been added to the Pandala archmonsters' loot.

Monsters:

  • Monster groups in Ecaflipus no longer reappear instantly.
  • The "To Each His Pwn" challenge is now incompatible with Captain Meno.

  • Nosee can no longer use the "Blind Leap" spell if he is in a Gravity state.
  • During the fight against Kabaal, when a player controls the demonic arms, they now have 30 seconds instead of 15 to play.
  • In the "Iridescent Shores" zone (formerly "Bonta City Walls"), piwis have been replaced by the Dark Rose family.
  • Monsters in the corruption zone:
    • Elgrun: The "Brutalysm" spell is now correctly cast even if the target is in the "Rotting Skin" state.

    • Corruption: The "Liquefaction" spell is now correctly cast even if the player is alone.

    • The effects of the "Brutalitis" and "Lockitis" diseases now correctly dissipate at the same time as the diseases.

    • The "Gangritis" disease no longer spreads to allies in the "Rotting Skin" state.

    • The "Tetanitis" disease is now correctly displayed in the fight information.

Combat:

  • In some cases, when a spell applied both a change in vitality and inflicted damage, health points weren't correctly calculated. This issue has been fixed.
  • The perceptor "Flame" spell has regained its old animation!

Infinite Dreams:

  • The Puppet Master and Captain Meno are no longer available via the "Add Guardian" reward beyond level 400.
  • Kabaal, King Imagami, and Queen Amirukam are now available as an "Add Guardian" reward.
