New interfaces

  • The interfaces have been completely revamped and improved; some interfaces can now be resized and moved (to the sidebars, for example). A devblog article about this is available at the following address: http://www.dofus.com/en/mmorpg/news/devblog/tickets/581786-dofus-getting-summer-makeover
  • Extra shortcut bars (spells or items) can be added. Configuring them (layout and position) is different inside and outside of fights.
  • The readability and speed displaying spell and item tooltips have been increased considerably. Fixed item text boxes in the interface have been replaced by new item tooltips.
  • A single theme is currently available (the black theme, used by the majority of users), but we are looking at the possibility of allowing players to create their own themes.

Widescreen view (16:9)

  • The DOFUS client now supports 16:9 displays (the majority of widescreen format displays). Adjacent map backgrounds are shown, in place of the black sidebars. These areas can be used to place movable elements of the interface.
  • It's still possible to resize the DOFUS client to keep the traditional 4:3 view.

Cania Plains Improvement

  • The Cania areas have had a graphical overhaul, and there have been many improvements to its bestiary (balancing and new monsters). 5 new monster Achievements have been added.
  • 13 new quests are available in the Cania Plains. They're spread across the different areas of the region and are related to 2 new Achievements.

Kolossium

  • The formulas governing rewards (Kolossokens, kamas and experience) in the Kolossium have been changed, and are now based on characters' real ratings, in order to enhance important ratings. Overall, rewards have been increased for more than 3,000 ratings, and reduced for lower ratings. However, it not currently possible to exceed 10,000,000 experience gained in a single fight.
  • Players who have registered for the solo queue will be restricted from being put into teams with two members of the player's class, unless the waiting time for a fight is more than 15 minutes.
  • The numbers of battles won and played displayed in the Kolossium interface are now correctly reset every day.
  • Messages for temporary bans from participating in the Kolossium now show the reason for the ban and the remaining time.
  • Kolossium fights' gains and losses are now applied immediately during game server saves.
  • Experience modifiers (secondary character bonuses, temporary server bonuses etc.) are now correctly applied to Kolossium experience gains.
  • The team rating is now correctly updated according to changes in solo ratings, even if no team fight has taken place.
  • In the Kolossium interface, if no fight has been taken place, the maximum score now displays a dash instead of 0.
  • In some cases, a 5-minute ban from the Kolossium was abnormally applied to accounts that had not yet refused a Kolossium fight; this problem should now be resolved.
  • In some cases, a 30-minute ban from the Kolossium was abnormally applied to accounts that had lost a Kolossium fight but hadn't given up the fight; this problem should now be resolved.
  • Private messages exchanged between a character in the Kolossium (who started their fight from a Haven Bag) and a character not in the Kolossium are now sent correctly.
  • During a Kolossium fight, the /whois command (entered in the chat interface) now returns the server of the targeted character (in addition to the usual information).
  • The overall operation of the Kolossium servers has been changed in order to increase their stability and the availability of this feature. The Kolossium servers still occasionally have trouble, causing massive disruption to fights and the Kolossium to be temporarily unavailable; we're continuing to monitor and work on these issues.

Smithmagic

  • Smithmagic Rune conversion factors have been changed: transforming normal Rune into Pa and Ra Runes now requires 6 Runes (compared to 10 previously). Before the 2.36 update, 100 normal Runes were required to obtain 1 Ra Rune. In version 2.36, 36 normal Runes will be necessary to obtain 1 Ra Rune.
  • We've made these changes to reduce the Rune conversion penalty, which too substantially penalized the types of Runes that were often converted into superior Runes. We are continuing to monitor the development of Smithmagic Rune generation, and we won't rule out the possibility of making other changes to this system in future updates if the changes made in version 2.36 are insufficient. You'll find more detailed explanations about thistopic.
