Following your feedback and many responses to the survey on challenges, we've made the first wave of changes. The goal of these changes is to address some of the biggest issues you raised. However, we'll continue to monitor your feedback and analyze your responses in greater depth to offer further changes in the future.
- The base bonuses for challenges have all been increased by 50%.
- The additional bonus for challenges when the player is in outnumbered has been harmonized at 30%. The bonus when the player is outleveled has also been harmonized at 30%.
- Some drop rates have all been modified:
- Rate for rare resources: 1.2% → 2%.
- Rate for resources from resource protectors: 0.6% → 1%.
- Rate for quest resources: rare resources are now at 2% and common resources are at 12%. The Paragon drop rate has been increased from 0.5% to 0.7%.
- "Elemental Mystique", "Untouchable", "Tireless", "Unbroken Line" and "Faraway So Close" have been disabled due to their low popularity. We're currently considering whether to make changes to them in the future or leave them disabled.
- Several changes have been made to the Turquoise Dofus quests:
- Kimbo:
- At the end of their turn, enemies attract all allies located more than 8 cells (previously 4 cells) away by 1 cell.
- Sphincter Cell:
- When an opponent dies, their allies gain 200% damage for 2 turns. → When an enemy dies, the enemies gain 2 MP for 1 turn.
- Korriander:
- Allies or enemies that die inflict 50% of their HP in damage to anyone 6 or more cells away. → Opponents kill enemies located on adjacent cells when they die.
- Obsidemon:
- At the start of their turn (previously at the end of their turn), enemies apply a 100% increase in damage suffered by allies within 6 cells or less.
- Long-range damage on enemies is reduced by 20% (previously 40%).
- Kanigrula:
- Damage inflicted by your opponents increases 40% (previously 80%) per game turn.
- Idol crafting recipes have been changed to lower their cost:
- The amount of Nuggets required has been reduced.
- Boss essences have been replaced by 1 rare boss resource.
- Kimbo:
- The area bonus that allows anomalies to open has changed: 50% → 70%.
- The maximum bonus an area can reach has changed: 70% → 80%.
- The "Kill on Sight" challenge no longer fails if a monster is attacked in a turn in which a monster is killed.
- With the "Focus" challenge, when effects are removed from a monster when it is killed, attacking another monster no longer makes the challenge fail.
- With the "Heartless" challenge, healing a summons no longer makes the challenge fail. If, however, a summons heals an ally, then the challenge fails.
- The description of the "Close Combat" challenge has been changed to match how the challenge works.
Alliances
As with challenges, the first wave of changes has been made to reduce the cost of AvA and make controlling a territory more appealing. Changes have also been made to KOTH to put greater emphasis back on PvP. Further changes will be made in the future, and an in-game survey will be posted to find out how you feel about these changes and what you still hope to see.
- Area prism recipes have been changed to lower their cost:
- Alloys and substrates have been decreased: 2 → 1.
- Required alloys and substrates have been changed.
- Some quantities have been changed.
- Dungeon keeper essences have been replaced by common monster resources.
- The experience bonus when a player fights a monster in a territory controlled by their alliance has been changed: 25% → 50%.
- The invulnerability period after placing a prism has been increased. For example:
- For alliances controlling 1 prism: 10 hrs. → 24 hrs.
- For alliances controlling 4 prisms: 4 hrs. → 8 hrs.
- For alliances controlling 10 prisms: 2.5 hrs. → 4 hrs.
- "Scout" role:
- The maximum number of points a scout can have has been changed: 50 → 30.
- The number of cumulative points per minute has been changed: 5 → 3.
- The maximum number of scouts in a KOTH has been changed: 50 → 30.
- Conquest potion recipes have been changed:
- They now all require two resources instead of just one.
- In the Undertaker potion recipe, nettles have been replaced by vampire blood.
- Some Perceptor spells have changed to lower the Perceptors' overall power:
- Annuity
- Fire healing is now Earth healing.
- Centoror's Endurance
- Cooldown period: 2 → 3.
- Standard Mister Bar
- Cooldown period: 2 → 3.
- Overpayment
- AP cost: 2 → 3.
- Subsidy
- AP cost: 3 → 4.
- Maximum range: 6 → 5.
- End of Abundance
- Cooldown period: 3 → 5.
- Enfranchisement
- Maximum range: 8 → 6.
- Exoneration
- Cooldown period: 2 → 3.
- Levy
- The MP theft is parryable in all cases.
- Salt Tax
- The AP theft is parryable in all cases.
- Blinkers
- AP cost: 3 → 4.
- Cooldown period: / → 2.
- Range penalty: 4 → 5.
- Malversation
- AP cost: 3 → 4.
- Cooldown period: / → 2.
- Go Bust
- Maximum range: 6 → 4.
- Cooldown period: / → 2.
- Erosion penalty: 20% → 13%.
- Menalt's Wrath
- Cooldown period: / → 2.
- Damage suffered: ×107% → ×110%.
- Chancellery
- Cooldown period: / → 2.
- -15% HP → -15% final damage.
- Surtax

- The recycling bonus while in control of a territory has been changed: 50% → 25%.
- The recycling bonus while in control of adjacent territories has been changed: 100% → 50%.
- Elasticity is now calculated at the end of the fight when calculating KOTH end-of-fight points. This way, if there were changes in the overall KOTH ranking during the fight, elasticity is calculated based on the end-of-fight ranking.
Quests and Achievements
- "Belladonna" special achievement: The achievement can no longer designate a dead ally.
- "Sponge Mob" special achievement:
- The state applied on being attracted or pushed back is represented by a state icon and can no longer be dissipated.
- Transposition no longer triggers the challenge.
- Verification now happens properly at the start of the second turn.
- "Ush" special achievement: The state indicating that a monster has indeed been hit is represented by a state icon and can no longer be dissipated.
- "Kanniball Andchain" special achievement: The achievement now only concerns enemy fighters to prevent the Haloperi Doll from causing the achievement to fail.
- "Nidas" special achievement: Carried entities no longer cause the achievement to fail improperly.
- "Tramston Is Dumb" quest: Guards now properly have an icon in the timeline.
- "Inspection Round" quest: The Astrubian Mercenary no longer mentions that Dofus are not for sale in Marketplaces in his dialogue.
- "The Sands of Time" quest: You can now leave the Elvis Irr fight map without starting the fight.
- "Riff-Raft" quest: Excess kokoko wood planks and kokoko wood beams are now removed from the inventory at the end of the quest.
- "Truth at Bottom" and "The Sands of Time" quests: At the end of the fight against Vortex, if the answers weren't selected in the right order, you could be teleported out of the dungeon without validating both quests. The order in which the answers appear has been changed to fix this issue.
- "Real Triton Strategy" quest: Lieutenant Rayner no longer does damage to her allies.
Guilds
- In the guild directory, a new button has been added to filter out guilds for which the player doesn't meet the required criteria.
Combat
- It is now possible to equip a sidekick for a fight against a resource protector.
- If a multi-accounting player was playing multiple characters with AvA mode active and one of their characters disconnected from a fight against monsters in an area with an ongoing KOTH, they could not reconnect. This issue has now been fixed.
- If the player is affected by an improved uchronic elixir, the Puddly Village uchronic malfunction is properly activated.
- Some common spell icons have been changed to match their effects.
- Infinite Dreams:
- Dazahk Freezammer's Dream now works properly.
Monsters
- Kordis: The monster now only drops ice kamas and kama fragments as end-of-fight loot. The book In Search of Immortality is now given as a reward for the Kordis-linked "Monster? Us Plants!" quest. The NPC Grampa Muscle also sells it.
- Typhomet: The monster inflicts damage properly at the end of his turn on all enemies that were hit with his Heretic's Gaze spell.
Navigation
- On the world map, a scale symbol has been added to show where the entrance to the Imp Village is.
- In the Pandala smithmagi's workshop, the workshops and the crusher have been placed on the ground floor of the building.
Other
- In Rhia's shop in the "The Treasure Chest", a black square appeared when hovering over items. This issue has now been fixed.
- You can now interact with the Summons Skill spell island totem even if you already have the spell. This will teleport just the character off the island.
